“This was my first ever time commissioning curtains in my first ever house, and I can absolutely say that Sonia Whiteman made the experience a pleasure. I knew nothing about fabrics, linings interlinings, pleats, returns... Sonia talked me through all the options. She measured not once, not twice, but three times, and held my hand through everything, including putting up poles, return hooks and hold-backs. I really can't recommend her highly enough, she is an extremely skilled and careful seamstress, and a lovely person to deal with.”

“A friend who had used Bindu’s services recommended her for our sitting room project. I needed help with choosing curtain fabric to fit our existing sofas and she listened to my requirements and saw curtains and blinds I already had in the house to gauge my style. I love colour and Bindu was great with suggesting colour schemes and fabric. Once I had decided on the fabric which she ordered, she organised new poles which I painted myself, and she also organised the fitting of the poles and took great detail in the final fitting of the curtains which were then steamed in place. I can’t recommend Bindu enough for her ideas, professionalism and general friendliness.”

“Sacha made 2 Roman blinds for my bedroom. She came to visit me with a very large choice of fabrics and to measure for each blind. Ordering was easy and Sacha kept me informed of when the blinds would be ready. The finished products are beautiful, very well made and fit perfectly. I am extremely happy with the service I received and the finished product. I certainly won't hesitate in asking her to make more blinds in the future.”

“This is a small local business where every effort was made to help find the right fabric and style for the right location. The staff were very helpful in helping my daughter to choose blinnds for the children's rooms and lounge curtains with Design Room providing good advice and lots of fabric books to choose from. Previously I have had used them for other rooms in my sons' house as well as my own. The finished products have always been excellent and completed to a high standard. I am already planning to use them for the next room we are about to redecorate.”

“We had 2 pairs of beautiful curtains made by Chelsea Artisans, along with buying the poles from them. The whole process was quick, easy and very professional. The ladies came out to measure and helped us chose some beautiful fabric, and advised us with the design. The curtains and poles were the fitted in great time and look stunning! I will definitely be using them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for fabulous soft furnishings for their home - thank you ladies!”

“We recently brought a new build house and searched for someone who'd be able to fit curtains and blinds throughout our new house. As soon as I met Kim I knew I'd made an excellent choice. She's extremely talented at what she does and knows exactly what fabrics and colours work well together. The finished curtains are absolutely gorgeous and are better than I could have imagined.
