“I recently moved house, to a new area I am not familiar with, and wanted some help with window furnishings. Closs & Hamblin contacted by phone initially and asked me about my project, they arranged for a lady to come out to measure, and bring a variety of fabric samples. Julie was really helpful, and spent time listening to my ideas, then measured the windows, and advised on both poles and curtain headings. She then helped me choose the right fabric to go with my sofa, and talked through how the order would be made and fitted. I was then sent a quote, which I accepted. The curtains were hand made and delivered by a fitter, who installed the poles, and hung the curtains - again a seamless process. I cannot recommend this company highly enough, they were really friendly, listened to my requirements, kept me informed all the way through my order and delivered everything on time.”

The quality of her work is very good and she takes the time and trouble to ensure that all details are up to her standard. Judith is also personable and helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending her work!”

“Pret A Vivre have been outstanding from start to finish. Laura at the Fulham branch helped us hone down our ideas from the endless curtain styles and fabrics available. She could not have been more helpful and insightful and we feel like we got expert advice and just the right curtains for us. The lead time was as expected and fitting was equally impressive. The fitter turned up on time, was professional but friendly and fitting was quick and to an excellent standard. They really do look fantastic. You pay for quality and these curtains were not cheap but we genuinely feel like it is value for money. We have more windows to dress and will be using Pret A Vivre for all of them. Recommended.”

“I am very happy with my installation that wows whoever comes to my house. I stumbled across Grants on Instagram and contacted them for blinds for my extension and lounge. I was contacted by Gaius who used photos from past projects and sketches relating to my drawings, they quickly made me realise the potential and what could be done with my house. The process from quote to installed blinds was also very good. I was impressed by the installer and his commitment and preciseness of his work to get the perfect end result. So much so I have already had my stairway window done and am looking at getting the bedrooms done as well. A big thank you to Gaius and the Grants team, keep up the good work!”

“We received a brilliant service from the Shutter Studio. We discussed our requirements and looked at samples in the Shirley showroom - everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Our fitter on the day was extremely capable and our new blinds were fitted very quickly, and with no mess or disruption. Cannot rate this company highly enough - would definitely deal with them again.”

“Beautiful result and hassle free process. We asked Rebecca to design and install new curtains for our flat in London. The old curtains were dated and didn't look right anymore. Rebecca took the time to integrate all of our requirements, inserted her much needed creativity and the result was beyond our expectations. The curtains make the look feel very harmonious and really improved the space. They are clearly unique and look luxurious. She made the process very easy for us and presented with choices that were all very interesting and original. She arranged for the installation as well so we had nothing to do which was great. We highly recommend.”

“I recently asked Lisa at Pretty Swish if she could make me some blinds or curtains for my downstairs hall, stairs and study. I have no idea of interior style and my husband had disliked every fabric I had looked at before talking to Lisa! Plus, We have a small barn conversion that has wonky windows, ceilings and floors and is quite dark inside. Not only did she create us the most fabulous blinds and box cushion that are admired by everyone who comes to the house but she helped us choose wonderful fabrics that are complementary to the house and its style and much loved by both my husband and me!! She is a consummate professional when it comes to soft furnishing and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She has an innate sense of interiors style combined with great technical knowhow and phenomenal attention to detail. She is very very easy to work with - she will listen to your ideas and provide more for you to see what is possible, while understanding what will work for your house/shed/office space etc; she is very open and honest and precise and if she doesn't believe something will work the chances are it won't!; she helps you keep within your budget or deadline and can suggest modifications if necessary; she is also very good at keeping in contact with you so you know how the project is going; plus, on top of that, she is the most friendly and kind person you could wish to meet, which makes what could be a stressful process an extremely pleasurable one - Thank you Lisa!!”
