“Removal of a large pine tree and stump gave us the opportunity to expand and reconfigure the front entrance deck and steps into our house. My son and I are competent with the carpentry but did not have the time, skills or prowess to dig footings or pour pads. In addition, there were other possible timing issues so I was looking for someone who might be willing to do some aspects of the project but not necessarily all. Matt and Connor of Creative Spaces were recommended to me by a neighbor. I called and Matt came over the next day. We discussed the project and Matt came back the following day with a quote for (1) piers and pad, (2) ledger board, (3) deck structure (without decking), and (4) the complete project. Not all companies are willing to take on only part of a project – it’s all or nothing. Based on costs and other factors, we elected to go with (1) and (2) from Creative Spaces and do the rest on our own. As a small (two-day) project, they were able to schedule it quickly and showed up as agreed. The work went smoothly. The workmanship was excellent and professional. Matt and Connor were a pleasure to have around and even provided helpful advice on aspects of the project they weren’t doing. I have no reservation recommending Matt and Connor of Creative Spaces!”
