“My husband and I had debated for several months if we should move to a larger space, or renovate our current home for our expanding family. I had brought this up with Rick Byrd, the owner of Byrd Design and Build (BDB), and he immediately came to our house to talk with us through all of our options. He walked through our house and really gave us some amazing plans to make the space we already had more usable and more modern and up to date. This was the perfect option for us, considering we were expecting our first child. He laid out all of the different renovation plans we could have and really helped us envision a space catered to our wants and needs. My husband works from home, so we thought it was going to be a difficult journey to do an almost complete gut job of our basement and first floor kitchen/bedroom/bath, but BDB did an amazing job accommodating him and being cautious of the space we weren’t renovating. During the construction process, all of the subcontractors of BDB were extremely nice, non-invasive and very courteous of everything in the house. Darren, the project manager, was always attentive and mindful of our timeline, which was shortened due to the arrival of our new baby. We have the perfect new nursery, brand new kitchen and bathroom, and an entirely finished basement all just in time for our son. Everything was completed in a timely fashion and in pristine condition. We are obsessed with our basically “new” house!”

“We choose Bay Kitchens to renovate our very outdated kitchen. We met Debbie on her initial visit to our home. Debbie was very knowledgeable, professional and informative. “Our project was an extensive remodeling of our bedroom level with demolition of existing laminate floors, entrance doors, closet doors and trim and replacement with solid oak.(see website for a room example) The existing steps and rails from the first level to the second level were rebuilt. Bathroom floors were retiled and new faucets were put in. On the first floor, the kitchen floor was retiled and the existing oak floors in the living room, dining room and foyer were sanded and resurfaced. The entire first floor was painted. The front door was replaced and some concrete work on the front sidewalk. An existing sunroom was demolished and was replaced with a custom designed 16' x 22' sunroom with a cathedral ceiling,as seen on the website. A concrete floored storage unit was built under the entire sunroom with two entrances and lighting. A new A/ C unit was installed in the sunroom and the entire room was painted. Ceiling fans were installed in all bedrooms and in the sunroom and additional lighting units were replaced. Some repairs were made to the existing deck. Construction began in mid March of 2014 and was completed in mid May of 2014. Throughout the entire reconstruction, the homeowners remained living in the home. All workers were respectful, self- motivated and punctual. Despite the mistakes made by a supplier of the doors, the company worked around the difficulties and kept us informed. All work was completed to our high standards and easily passed code requirements and inspections. Change orders were accepted gracefully. Work was completed well within our budget and was of good value. We would highly recommend Testament Construction Group for major home renovations. It is also good to know that the company specializes in accessible design and home modifications for those with special needs. “We had a great experience using Trak Homes! We had them do a couple of projects, renovate and finish the master bath, and finish our basement (which was completely unfinished). The team was there every day and put in long hours. Alex had some great ideas - all of which we ended up using. He thought of a lot of things that no one else had mentioned or considered. When we asked him to do additional work that we thought of as time went on, he always found a way to make it happen. I have already recommended them to several people and I will continue to do so. When having a home built or renovations done to your home, there is so much stress and frustration that goes along with it.
