The goal was to infuse the interior of the house with modern applications of Craftsman architectural detail. Scott has an extraordinary eye for structure, color, and detail. He added variations of Craftsman wainscoting in the dining room and master bedroom, built a transom with beveled glass over a long hallway, affixed a faux coffer treatment on the ceiling of the study, made all cabinet door fronts uniform in style, and added light fixtures that were modern yet reflective of the Craftsman tradition. His regular crew were skilled, professional, and at times part of the creative process.”
