“Just Call Home has done a lot of work on our home - all of it has been EXCELLENT. They have done smaller projects such as - installing tile flooring in our bathrooms, repairing exterior wood damage, removing garage doors in a finished garage and replacing with an exterior wall and windows, installing a skylight, and performing our home inspection. They have also completed a full remodel of our main floor as Just Call Home "swapped" our kitchen and family room locations. Our "old" kitchen was completely gutted with walls removed and converted into a family room. Our "old" family room then became a gourmet kitchen. Just Call Home was there every step of the way in our planning process. He offered creative, functional ideas and floorplans for the layout - using his architecture background - and helpful advice on style and function for the details. He went above and beyond in helping us pick flooring, cabinets, appliances...whatever my husband and I were working on, he came back in the morning with research/ideas about. When problems arise as they do on a job of this magnitude, he was always ready with multiple solutions. His patience was unbelievable as we made decision after decision. And he always talked with us about what was "coming up" in the coming weeks so that we had time to think through some decisions we'd need to make. He was constantly mindful of cost -- offering different cost options and giving honest assessments of whether certain features were "worth" the money. His knowledge of all different aspects of such a large renovation was unbelievable - for every question I asked, he could provide an answer with detail and precision based on experience. He takes great pride in his work --- after a year in our remodel, I still haven't found anything he did "wrong." His work is detailed and professional. On top of all this, he is an honest person and someone I trusted completely in my home. And as a person, he is top-notch - considerate of being in your home, enjoyable to work with, and kind. “We hired Steve from "By Design Custom Builders" for our 3,200 sf home renovation which was completed in two phases (downstairs living level in 2014 and upstairs bedroom level in 2016). The lower level reno was fairly extensive, with walls removed and a kitchen redesign. The upper level included updates of all BR/BA's, as well as a complete remodel of our master bath. We had a preconceived vision for the design, so Steve referred me to his preferred industry professionals who made the selection process for the various finishing elements a breeze. With Steve's communication, everyone was very clear about the budget and careful to stay on track. Steve's crew members were highly skilled professionals who obviously took pride in their work. We are sad to say we have since moved out of that home. But for the purpose of this review, it's worth noting we recouped every bit of our renovation investment after selling just 1 year post-project completion. “We had an amazing experience with John at Aerie.us My wife and I sat down with John to discuss our ideas for a built-in in the living room. John listened sketched a few ideas and within one to two weeks had at least 4-5 detailed design ideas. The final design was a hybrid of two to three earlier designs. For the cost and construction time, John's build is absolutely incredible and looks as though it has always been with the house. He is both a design guru and a master craftsman all in one. We feel completely spoiled and would not consider anyone else doing work inside our home.”
