“I had the opportunity to get to know Janver Holly several years ago when we both attended a professional training program together. You will notice his simple earnestness from the first time you meet him. There are no smoke and mirrors with Janver. He is a building professional committed to doing a good job, and his business is built on honesty and respect. He has become a good friend, and I have the highest degree of respect for who he is and the business he has built. I would not hesitate to hire him to do my own project, and would encourage anyone looking for a good building contractor to do the same. You will enjoy working with him!”

“Leff Construction renovated our house, added on a sun room, built decks surrounding our house, changed the roofline because of the add on, and installed landscaping. They worked on our home, improving it from one end to the other, for over a year. During that time they showed up every day, provided top rate work, both from their construction crew and their sub contractors, and remained respectful and helpful throughout. The billing was clear and honest. Whenever something needed correcting (which was seldom), it was accomplished quickly and thoroughly. To attest to how much I respect Leff Construction, we have become good friends with Dave Leff, and I have served on a nonprofit board with him for several years. I know that's a rare and precious outcome from a house remodel. I continue to ask his company to do small jobs for us when they occur, and I recommend him highly to anyone undertaking construction or remodeling.”

“I used The Victorian Cottage Corporation for a rebuild of an old backyard cottage in Alameda, CA and was impressed. Robert, the owner is knowledgeable and very easy to work worth. Building with the extra detailing was extra work but definitely worthwhile. Even the building inspectors commented that this guy knows his stuff. Everything came out great.”

“We live in the Meadowridge house which we bought from Gary in 2000. He had designed and built the house in 1994. We had him add on to the house, converting the garage to another room and building a new garage. My wife and I love the house. In fact we are expanding again adding space to the garage and putting two bedrooms above the garage along with other changes. Gary had left the area so we are using another architect/builder. But we have continued his designs in the new addition. My comments refer to The original house and addition. The design is fantastic. The best attribute is the sky lights that run run the length of the house in both directions. These make the house what it is! The use of wood (aspen ceilings, vertical pine logs, sand blasted wood trim around the doors, etc.) and stone (entry way and some outside walls) give the house an outdoors feel inside. Several rooms/closets do not have doors giving an openness to the house. We love the vaulted ceilings leading up to the sky lights that emphasizes this openness. He also used interior windows to light up areas that would not receive sunlight. In short we love his architectural ideas as expressed in our house. We have lived in the house for 12 years and have had no structural issues in spite of heavy winter snows. -Cres Fleming”

“Tom and I have worked together on two actual and many conceptual projects since 2011. We are about to finish a 1950 to Modern GREEN home, 2400 sq ft total (1600 sq ft 2 story addition) project and I still LOVE him! As of today, we are about 6 weeks from completion. Here is how I describe him: MA in Sculpture and Design, 34 years of design-build general contracting, and does Yoga EVERY DAY. Can't get better than this! Creative, Budget-Conscience, Responsive. “Jeff and his team were extremely skilled and professional. They completed the extensive repairs we needed to several of our decks, remodeled our kitchen exactly the way I'd imagined it, and dealt with unexpected issues with grace and expediency. They did all this in a timely manner and kept to the budget we discussed at the outset. In addition to all this, Jeff and everyone he works with is unfailing kind and friendly. I'd recommend him without hesitation!”
