“Having seen the standard of work first hand from Goodwood Fitch at a friends property, involving a major refurb', I had no hesitation in asking them to carry out contracting work at my property (albeit a much smaller affair) and on the land at end of the property. The job involved: Building a new boundary brick wall. Bespoke trellis and garden gate. Redesigning & extending a work studio. Building a decking/seating area. Their attention to detail and workmanship was first class. Lots of ongoing communication. Always punctual and always very polite. Nothing too much trouble. They offered exceptional service and have been back to the house to sort out other minor problems. “A year on from when LDC finished my project and I'm still very happy with the furniture and the overall work. LDC spray-painted my old kitchen cupboards to the colour of my choice, added a new extension unit to my kitchen and built another 4 bespoke units (all with LED lighting). They did a fantastic job. They were always on time and always made sure to leave the place spotlessly clean before they left. As we lived in the house whilst we had the works done, this was very important for us. They did the architectural design, planning and permissions followed by project management and then ultimately the interior design. They added a basement level and loft to extend a 3 floor house to 5 floors and then converted it into 3 flats. We now have 3 beautifully designed and well thought out flats. They also supplied all the wood flooring, bathrooms and kitchens. The 3 flats all have their own identity and are by no means a typical boring development you see so often across London. The team super impressed with their knowledge, ideas and friendly yet professional approach. We love the end result.”

“I first worked with Matthew Stroud Associates on a detached double fronted Victorian villa in a Wandsworth conservation area. He was definitely the best choice of contractor. Matt Stroud and his team are very capable and gifted. Their care and attention to detail can not be faulted. He is also very resourceful, with close connections to a wide range of specialist trades to meet every requirement. Matt understood the requirements of working on a period property and how the refurbishment should be managed to enhance the character, aesthetics and performance of the building. The project was for a complete refurbishment both outside and in, including a new slate roof, repointed brickwork and new heritage timber sash windows externally and a full refurbishment of all rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, sauna and steam room internally. Matt worked accurately to architect and interior designer's drawings and specifications. The finished works are stunning! I can't rate him highly enough. He's my 'go-to' for any future projects.”
