They have been great to work with in all roles of the company, Ed has been enthusiastic and passionate about all of our projects throughout despite the differing work, the Artifex team are professional on site and work tidy and efficiently and any sub contracts have been easy to work with. The key strength of Artifex is the quality of the work and attention to detail which has been a consistent over the last 5 years. The work is always completed within a sensible timeframe and within budget. As a surveyor / developer they have made it very easy for me to work with them and I would highly recommend to anyone.”

For a big renovation project, I couldn’t recommend more, as most of the stress was taken away from us. The results are better than expected and we got both quality and beauty. “"Exceptional build completed on budget in extraordinarily challenging times. Ryan and his team provided full service from input into original architectural drawings to handing over the keys. Despite the difficulties of Covid, the project was completed painlessly and to the highest standard. Ryan offered considerable support and advice to help us through the hundreds of micro decisions that ensured we got the perfect modern finish we required. Our house was a largely untouched 1970s ugly house which has been transformed into a Scandi minimalist living space for three generations. We have no hesitation in recommending Ryan."”

“I had a large extension to the kitchen, with walls removed and supports added. They stuck to their schedule and quote, so there were no nasty surprises. The whole thing was minimal hassle given that I work from home. I'm really happy with the work done and would 100% recommend them to anyone.”

“We investigated a number of companies building the traditional way in oak and decided this was the best combination of price and quality. The first contract was for a garden room (conservatory) and it was completed on schedule within budget and the final result was better than we anticipated, despite having spent a lot of time on the details during the design stage. The site team was brilliant, friendly, very tidy and really caring about the details. We were so impressed we also contracted for an new entrance porch and and a replacement bay window. Both are now complete and we are really pleased with the end result. Only slight problem was the last job was delayed several weeks as the subcontractors had too much work on and needed a lot of chasing to get on with the job. Despite this a couple of weeks is nothing compared to the decades this should last looking great.”
