“We hired Faros to remodel our two bathrooms before our son was born this spring. We had a deadline and we were really counting on them to deliver on time - and they blew it out of the water. They show up, are incredibly communicative, and do a stellar job. I don't think any email ever even sat for a few hours unanswered! They are incredibly prompt, skilled, and they CARE. I think this story really exemplifies their level of professionalism: we were having my baby shower at our house and the bathroom still needed to be finished, but unfortunately, a huge snowstorm came and delayed almost every piece of the final installation. The owner and his son came to our house in the middle of the blizzard to finish the job. They wouldn't let it sit unfinished- they even shoveled our driveway to get it done on time! That's the kind of care I'm talking about - you'd be exceptionally lucky to have them work on your house. We look forward to working with them again and constantly recommend them to all of our friends.”

“Wonderful experience--Mike Nadeau is a talented and creative designer and builder with a super team who are courteous, thorough and highly skilled. He is very willing to be available and visited the project site regularly, often pitching in to do some of the work himself. He uses a first rate team of associates including carpenters, structural engineers, electricians, excavators, painters and HVAC personnel and manages to coordinate their arrivals and departures like a smoothly running broadway show with no wasted time or delays. They did a major renovation including building a large add-on family room, a new kitchen, wrap-around deck, portico and repair of a substantial amount of rotted siding and trim as well as correcting the prior work of others which needed redoing. We used him gladly for subsequent projects and would do it again any time. Absolutely first rate!!!!”

“Harvest Building Company converted one bay of our three-car garage into an entry room and the entire second floor into an office and guest bedroom and full bathroom. One of the unique features was the dividing wall between the bedroom/office/sitting room spaces. The wall was a bookshelf, which had a center panel, which rotated (they figured out that the mechanism for a windmill would allow the panel to rotate 360 degrees in both directions). While one side contained a bookshelf, the other side had a plain wall so that we could mount a TV on it, thus, allowing the TV to be viewed in the sitting area or in the bedroom. Their tile work, carpentry and sheetrock work was some of the best that I have seen. I really enjoyed working with them, not only because of their meticulous, high quality workmanship, but also, because they really loved and took great pride in their work.”

“Very happy with work done in 2013 on second floor of house built in the early 1900's. Crew was respectful of the property and the fact that we lived in the house while under construction. We decided to rehire M L Murdy in 2017 for kitchen and living room remodel. Design plans are impressive, and utilization of space is maximized. Team is responsive to customer's needs, and communication is easy. We highly recommend this company!”

“Common Vision did a major addition to my small house, designing and building the perfect space for my tiny lot, matching existing moldings and trims, listening to my wants and desires, with professional staff, fine materials, excellent workmanship and pleasant communications. “My first experience with Brom builders was several years ago. I purchased a Condo, they had built in Norwich Conn. The quality and detail was impecable. To this day my family discusses what a beautiful unit it was. Ican remember having a minor issue with the windows and how prompt and professional the service was. In my opinion if you are lookoing to build your dream house, there should be no one else that you'd want to do the job. Brom Builders is #1 in my book.”

“We hired Charles Shafer to replace an old sunroom that was added onto our house in the late 70s and added on a two story addition with a porch, new stairs, mudroom, expanded family room and master suite to our historic mid 1800s home. Charlie designed and built the addition complementing the existing historical features. People come over and are blown away by how well the addition integrates with the original house and dramatically improves the flow of the home. I highly recommend Charlie as he is a professional and a master of his craft. We look forward to working with him in the future as we continue to restore our home.”
