“THE PROJECT: My husband and I bought a two-family home as an investment property with the goal of living on the top floor; however, the unit we wanted to live in had a very closed-in feel and was out-dated. We knew we needed to hire a professional to help us open up our unit and modernize the look and feel... so that's when we called Lorenzo from LC Construction. With his help, we got a beautiful new kitchen, living room, office, bathroom, bedroom, and an amazing walk-in closet. He successfully transformed a 950 square foot unit and made it feel like it was twice the size. SOLID EXPERIENCE AND GREAT PLANNER: Lorenzo was great at listening to our needs and helped us narrow down ideas. It can be very overwhelming when you are changing 80% of your space, but his upbeat personality and excellent communication skills put us at ease. You can tell he has a passion for good design and flow. He really took the time to help us strategically plan the room according to our lifestyle and taste. He was also good about making the most of our budget by recycling/repurposing materials i.e., re-painting existing cabinets instead of buying new ones and repurposing old hardwood floors for a new room. Small things like that really demonstrated his knowledge and experience. GREAT CRAFTSMANSHIP: Now with the project done, we get so many compliments on the quality of work. It seriously looks like you’re stepping into a magazine! Even an untrained eye can tell that everything was done with the utmost care. His crew was always there on time, very polite, and kept the job site very orderly. We appreciated the time Lorenzo took to walk us through the job site and propose new ideas that were not necessarily on the project plan such as frosting the windows of a sliding door and creating drawers/shelves in the wall to make the most of our space. ON TIME & ON BUDGET: I've heard many horror stories from people who hired contractors where projects got prolonged or went way over budget. We never got surprise invoices with numbers we didn't agree on and he got our project done on the day we needed to move in. FINAL REMARKS: What you're really getting with LC Construction is an amazing end product AND a great experience. Lorenzo’s enthusiasm, charm and expertise made the whole process fun and motivating throughout. He’s worth every penny and we’re looking forward to working with him again on another project.”
