“We had used Chris to do a house renovation previously although on a much smaller scale. Chris was always happy to give advice or help with anything building wise even months after completion so we had no hesitation using Chris again on our forever home project. Chris helped us with the design, planning and build and his guidance, as always, was invaluable. This project involved ripping out existing electrical and heating systems, removal of an existing staircase and an extension which has almost doubled the size of the house. Chris also built a feature fireplace in one of the reception rooms using the orignal brick from the dismantled fireplace which looks absoultely amazing. Honesly, if you're looking for someone who will offer guidance but not dictate and someone who will take absolute pride in his work then look no further.”

“David Nicholas Construction recently managed and constructed our home extension from start to finish. This consisted of a garage conversion as well as a new bedroom built above the garage. They did a flawless job and I cannot thank them enough for the hard work they have put into this project and how well Nick has managed it for us.”

“Mountfair Homes undertook a full roof replacement when we purchased our new house. We’d been told significant work had to be done, and knowing the age of the house (a Victorian terrace), we wanted to make sure we had expert management in case unexpected issues were found when the works commenced. When the works began it was found that additional joinery work and structural repairs were required to stabilise a dormer roof and place new timbers above a bathroom ceiling. As soon as the issues were discovered we were immediately informed and the Mountfair Team’s expertise meant that we were presented with a plan of action, had the buildings inspector over to approve the works and had the joinery work arranged within 24 hours, meaning our initial timeframe for the project wasn’t delayed at all. The Mountfair Team were excellent throughout the entire project, kept us up to date, were reliable and are supported by great contacts around them, we’re incredibly happy with the standard of Mountfair’s work and ability to deliver a stress free project.”
