“We chose Sunspace Design over other companies because we wanted a custom sunroom- not a one-size-fits-all outfit that assembles pre-made components. They carefully listened to our wishes, and designed just what we asked for! They custom-build an 18' x 14' Glass Conservatory attached to our home. They also made helpful suggestions to give us a unique room, complete with varnished mahogany ceiling beams and an all-glass roof. Their workmen are professionals with many years of experience- not easy to find these days when anybody with a hammer can call themselves a carpenter. They strategically used cedar in places to assure no rotting wood in the decades to come. When we asked for changes along the way, they had the experience to know how to accomplish it. “I retained Mr. Miller's services to both design and build the house of my dreams. He created the truly original design to fit perfectly on the almost three acre riverfront property taking full advantage of the breathtaking water and marshland views. Because there would only be one person living in the home I wanted the square footage to be minimal without sacrificing an aura of spaciousness. He succeeded in achieving this goal by creating high volume ceilings as well as a floor plan with totally functional space. Structurally the building is extremely sound as he engineered the steel pilings and wood framework to withstand the heaviest buffering of the prevailing winds. Then finished ontime, came in on budget, were available 24/7, even when the roof started leaking like sieve during a severe week of thunderstorms, despite having used more than sufficient tarps following removal of the roof. When my town insisted on adding a sprinkler system to an existing home, which would have created unreasonable costs; Dube came up with alternative solutions (cement siding) to appease the town, and create a safe, beautiful home.
