My husband and I hired Steve in April of 2017 to add a master bedroom and bath to our existing 2nd floor, as well as reconfigure a large portion of the 2nd floor and replace walls and doors in our home. With 3 very young children, we were apprehensive about having work done on our home, however, Steve was extremely patient, organized, and and thorough while working with our family. He communicated with us through the entire process, and was willing to offer design advice that enhanced the end product, but was always mindful of our budget. Steve's engineering skills certainly came in handy when it came to vaulting the ceilings in our bedroom, as well as adapting our existing plans to fit a master bath, which we very much wanted. Our remodel was both on-time, and within our budget. We are so happy with all of the renovations and upgrades done in our home, and we would highly recommend Steve and TruDesign to anyone looking for professional grade work done on their home!”

“Sage Builders were the general contractors for several projects in our home in particular for the large and complex retrofitting of a paneled library with coffered ceiling, purpose built sliding French doors, remodeled fireplace and special lighting. The project required the coordination of a variety of providers and contractors, including architects, carpenters, millwork specialists, decorators, lighting specialists, AV professionals, alarm system providers, painters, electricians, stone cutters, etc... Sage did a terrific job in guiding us throughout the process, they were reliable, available and present whenever needed, trustworthy, honest and meticulous in their follow through. They provided us with helpful and sensible advice borne of experience, were generous with their time and went out of their way to get the results we were seeking. They were always responsive, communicative, reasonable and a true pleasure to deal with. It was an expensive project but we are very pleased with the results as Sage was able to understand and interpret our desires extremely well. “Tripp had the task of doing a partial remodel of my kitchen which was last done in 1960! This was made more difficult because Tripp had to work within the parameters of my built in appliances which needed to be replaced without changing the sizes of the original ones. They are smaller then most that are sold now however he managed to find replacements and was able to install new counter tops without disrupting the original layout. He worked within my budget and the project was done on time. I was very pleased with all the professionals who worked on the project; electricians, plumbers and carpenters and the respect they showed for my home.”
