He returns calls on time, texts daily, and his pricing and work contract are very transparent We originally needed a window replaced, but the project morphed into a much larger project because of carpenter ants. He ended up having to replace all the shingling on one side of our house. Dave was very honest and clear on how the project escalated, what new costs were and gave us different options for budget and solutions. He encouraged us to go with a bit higher quality in materials, and we are really thankful we did the job right. It was late January and he and his fellow builder showed up in 10 degree weather for a week. His coworker was a pleasure to chat with every day, With 3 children at home, it’s important to feel comfortable with workers and I fully trust Dave and his Team. He always was meticulous with clean up. My one suggestion would be to understand his payment plan. We gave him a down payment and then wrote fairly substantial checks weekly. I felt like I was not always prepared with money in the bank to cover that week’s installments. I would prefer one deposit down and final payment at end but this was our only issue. His knowledge and expertise were worth it,! We were very pleased with the end result and quality of work and highly recommend him!”

This enabled us to make decisions quickly and address problems promptly. In the end, we only had to be out of the house for about a week. He was also very good about coordinating with our architect and the cabinetmaker that we selected ourselves. Our final figure was about 10% more than the initial estimate due to the kind of unforeseen issues that can be expected on any such project, along with a few changes that we ordered. The level of detail Scott provides in his constantly updated spreadsheet also helped us to make some decisions that reduced our cost.”
