“My wife and I needed a kitchen renovation and we were referred to Bertola Custom Homes by a friend. Joe came to our house shortly after we contacted his company to provide us with an estimate. We had a general idea of what we wanted and that included removing two structural walls to open up our floor plan. The job was big and very complex, however Joe was able to design the alteration on the spot and 3 days after we met the walls were gone. Because the new design asked for a window relocation, we also had them repair some rotten woodwork on the exterior and paint the entire house. It was very impressive how quickly he managed to come up with drawings from an Engineer, the building permits and begin the work. Everything went very smoothly. The crew moved and protected the furniture as well as the floors. They were friendly, worked very hard, and the site was kept super clean at all times. We also liked the air filter that they provided. It helped to control all the dust from getting everywhere. The final product is amazing. Joe takes real pride of his work. We appreciate his professionalism, work ethic, honesty and positive attitude. It has been amazingly easy dealing with Joe and his team. All of them are super nice and fun to be around. We are extremely happy with all the work and are already on his busy schedule for remodeling four of our bathrooms in the fall. Highly recommend.”

“I am almost done with a whole house renovation with Out of the Woods (OOTW) and I could not be happier. The quality of the craftsmanship is evident in every detail. Greg and his team have been so helpful throughout the entire process - providing ideas and helping me work within my budget. During demolition we uncovered some beautiful old beams in my house and the OOTW team helped brainstorm an incredible addition to the kitchen remodel. “We hired Raquel to assist with a kitchen and bathroom design for our 1935 home. We had taken down a wall and were looking to flip flop the kitchen and dining room, as well as add a full bath to the first floor where there was none (no small feat in a 1600 square foot home)! Raquel met with us to learn about what we were hoping to achieve, and worked with us to maximize the use of limited space. She was even able to squeeze in the full bath like we had hoped! We felt like she truly understood what we were looking to get out of the project, and she was a pleasure to work with. I've never hired a construction company before, so I had a ton of questions. Tonya scheduled a time to get an estimate on my edition. To my surprise the owner of the company came out to conduct it. Usually you get some hourly worker showing up. Craig gave me an in depth description about what would happen start to finish. I was very impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of the workers and Tonya in the main office. I was treated very well and I look forward to using Craig and his company again!!”
