In my humble opinion, Pete designed the most Amazing Lake Front Home of its' size on Canandaigua Lake, Western New York. Pete is extremely calming, very thorough in his approach in designing a home with timeless elements and character. He is honest, cultured and a pleasure to work with. Rock Star!”

“I have used Lewis Creek for a couple of projects. The first was some interior remodeling including a bathroom and front foyer and flooring for both (tile). They also subcontracted to an excellent wood floorer and recommended an excellent roofer. The second job was front and back porch installations. With both, work was timely and within projected estimates. The quality of the work was exemplary, and filled with suggestions regarding aesthethics and best choice of materials. This company has so much to offer, personable, pleasant people to work with, solid business ethics, with an eye to green if requested, detailed explanations and education if I asked. I will (and plan to to build a sauna ) hire them again.”

“Our Vermont Cape was remodeled from top to bottom by Peregrine two years ago - right down to the studs. We had a preliminary meeting with Architect, Cliff Deetjen and Owner Tim Frost and never looked back. Every interaction was a joy and we had them come back a year later to remodel the basement! The process was seamless, from the initial sketches to the final walk through, and when we had design ideas they were incorporated beautifully. The lead carpenter and the rest of the crew have left their stamp of quality on every inch of the house. The house is backed by woods and Cliff immediately realized the importance of creating a relationship between the house and the surrounding environment. The house now is full of light, the kitchen radiates warmth from handcrafted cherry cabinets, the master bathroom glows with a maple vanity and beautiful blond stone tile. We feel like we'll always have a friendship with Peregrine and all the wonderful vendors (tiler, cabinetmaker, stained glass artist, painter, electricians, plumber, appliance supplier) who worked on our home.”

“Sweeney Designbuild designed and built a freestanding roof over our cooking deck and redesigned our front porch and entryway. The staff and craftsmen are of the highest integrity and pricing was honest and open. The end results exceeded our expectations, which were quite specific. The attention to detail and professionalism were 5 out of 5 and an excellent rating is well deserved. It is a year later and we are still extremely pleased with the results.”

“Our family hired Classic Home Design to build our home in 2010. We met with husband and wife team, Maura and Justin, to help design the layout of our future home. We clicked with them immediately as we all were really excited to build a geen home under 1900 sq ft. We enjoyed the time we spent editing and then finally coming to agreement on a floorplan to best meet our needs. Next the excavation and building process began which was very smooth with clear communication and skilled work being completed in a neat and timely manner. Electrician and plumbing was done by competent contracters. Along the way we were called to make decisions and sometimes persuaded in a different dirrection. We were pleased as we were able to chose everything from heating, large appliances, wall colors and cabinetry. We tried to keep everything very clean as we wanted to create a healthy environment for our son and ourselves. The end product is beautiful and amazingly efficient to run. We use minimal propane and possibly 3+ cords of wood a year for heating. We love our home and everyone who visits comments on the bright open floor plan and the wood trim and accents that make it unique and warm.”

Their problem solving abilities on site were impressive, they always came up with solutions to tricky problems that kept us on track. They're highly organized and good communicators. Impressively, they delivered on schedule and on budget during a time period with inflation and supply chain issues where no one else we knew of could pull that off. Pricing was transparent and fair. And they bring a positive energy to the jobsite, from Brad and Kieran and all of the team, who are all nice people that you'd want working on your house. We could not recommend them highly enough!”

Their design sense is exceptional, their craftsmanship and carpentry skills meticulous and exacting. They approach each challenge with a great deal of thought and caring, adding small touches of unique artistry which resulted in our home becoming a lovely and nourishing place to live.
