“For our project, my wife and I wanted to build a house that "fit in" on a street full of charming 19th century New England style homes. Eric Gilmore, president of Gilmore Building Company, a custom home builder in central MA, worked with us and his architect associates to develop a concept that combined our custom floor plan goals with traditional architecture using the Greek Revival style prevalent on the street to build a "new old home". To complete the look, Eric custom designed many of the exterior and interior trim and molding patterns himself. The exterior design turned out to be so authentic that at one point later in the construction phase, an acquaintance that didn't know we were doing this house project remarked to me as we drove past the construction site, "Aw, isn't it nice that someone is restoring that beautiful old house?" ... but it was this new house: goal exceeded! This was our first custom home, so we were looking for a low risk, low stress process. We are now moved in and enjoying all the hard work that Eric and his team put in to the painstakingly designed, quality built, energy efficient home that has all the features we asked for -- and it fits right into the neighborhood.”

“This is the best contractor I have ever hired. He has an excellent eye for detail and color flow of interior work and he carries this for outdoor as well. He has great creativity for any project and checks for safety. What started as a load bearing wall coming down ended up an unimaginable Beautiful, gorgeous "big" living room which I get many compliments to this day. He was mindful to make sure all work was really contained and cleaned up each day. Hs eye for details i.e., molding, color scheme, fireplace mantel framing off, was never missed and made sure he suggested any and all to home owner on how the enhancement would flow or improve.. I cannot say enough at how pleased I was at all the work done by Bram and his team. They were reliable and all professional. My confidence in his work since the first project has grown so much, that I generally just let him run with all projects without much needed guidance from me. He will always do right by any given project and you will not be disappointed.”

“My wife and I needed a kitchen renovation and we were referred to Bertola Custom Homes by a friend. Joe came to our house shortly after we contacted his company to provide us with an estimate. We had a general idea of what we wanted and that included removing two structural walls to open up our floor plan. The job was big and very complex, however Joe was able to design the alteration on the spot and 3 days after we met the walls were gone. Because the new design asked for a window relocation, we also had them repair some rotten woodwork on the exterior and paint the entire house. It was very impressive how quickly he managed to come up with drawings from an Engineer, the building permits and begin the work. Everything went very smoothly. The crew moved and protected the furniture as well as the floors. They were friendly, worked very hard, and the site was kept super clean at all times. We also liked the air filter that they provided. It helped to control all the dust from getting everywhere. The final product is amazing. Joe takes real pride of his work. We appreciate his professionalism, work ethic, honesty and positive attitude. It has been amazingly easy dealing with Joe and his team. All of them are super nice and fun to be around. We are extremely happy with all the work and are already on his busy schedule for remodeling four of our bathrooms in the fall. Highly recommend.”

“I was very pleased with working with Liberty. It starts with Tonya in the office. She was very polite and helped answer all my "beginner": questions. I've never hired a construction company before, so I had a ton of questions. Tonya scheduled a time to get an estimate on my edition. To my surprise the owner of the company came out to conduct it. Usually you get some hourly worker showing up. Craig gave me an in depth description about what would happen start to finish. I was very impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of the workers and Tonya in the main office. I was treated very well and I look forward to using Craig and his company again!!”

We had taken down a wall and were looking to flip flop the kitchen and dining room, as well as add a full bath to the first floor where there was none (no small feat in a 1600 square foot home)! Raquel met with us to learn about what we were hoping to achieve, and worked with us to maximize the use of limited space. She was even able to squeeze in the full bath like we had hoped! We felt like she truly understood what we were looking to get out of the project, and she was a pleasure to work with.
