“We couldn't be happier with the addition done by Steve and TruDesign. My husband and I hired Steve in April of 2017 to add a master bedroom and bath to our existing 2nd floor, as well as reconfigure a large portion of the 2nd floor and replace walls and doors in our home. With 3 very young children, we were apprehensive about having work done on our home, however, Steve was extremely patient, organized, and and thorough while working with our family. He communicated with us through the entire process, and was willing to offer design advice that enhanced the end product, but was always mindful of our budget. Steve's engineering skills certainly came in handy when it came to vaulting the ceilings in our bedroom, as well as adapting our existing plans to fit a master bath, which we very much wanted. Our remodel was both on-time, and within our budget. We are so happy with all of the renovations and upgrades done in our home, and we would highly recommend Steve and TruDesign to anyone looking for professional grade work done on their home!”

“Toby Leary Fine Woodworking, Inc. was initially hired to build the cabinetry for our new home. Eventually he was hired to take over as the general contractor and finish the entire project. The quality of his work is outstanding, but equally important Toby is easy to work with. Toby is responsive and available as well as willing to discuss and resolve issues fairly. I would definitely hire Toby Leary Fine Woodworking, Inc. again.”

“Kamp built a 2000sf in-law addition onto an existing 3600sf home. They perform much of the work with their own people and manage subs for contracted work. The project came out as good as we had hoped it would. Paul (owner) and Mark (onsite manager) make an excellent team. They listened to our requirements, made helpful suggestions and followed through to assure a quality product. The only thing I would fault them on was scheduling. The project took 6-7 weeks longer than expected. Some of that delay was caused because leads times on some items (cabinets, granite, etc.) were longer than expected and, had we known, we could have made our selections earlier in the process. (We were novices to construction projects and could have benefited from regular schedule reviews.) Overall, it has been a very positive experience and we would certainly recommend KAMP to anyone considering a build or remodel.”

“Joe Lanza did two renovation projects for me and I can't speak highly enough about the quality of the work he did. They were quite different from one another. One was a small condo on Beacon Hill requiring knowledge of historic restrictions and sensitivity to building residents. I lived happily in that renovated condo. The second was a complete re-do of the first floor of a nice house on the South Shore. Lived there happily, too, especially with the new kitchen.”
