“We hired Johnston Remodeling to demolish the kitchen addition to our pre-1870 farmhouse, rebuild the kitchen addition (along with a storage room and a mudroom), install new vinyl siding on the entire home, install replacement windows throughout the entire house, and install a rock façade on a portion of the exterior of the home. Johnston Remodeling did an excellent job on all aspects of the demolition and construction, worked great with us and other subcontractors and suppliers, and above all, they were mindful of the age of the home and helped us maintain an old farmhouse feel despite all the upgrades. They were also great at listening to our concerns and meeting the needs of our lifestyle, so the house now fits us better than ever. They communicated frequently and openly about cost and stayed on budget throughout the entire project. And they were on task the entire time, completing the project before we thought they would.
