Tony chose the trees, harvested them , planed the beams , and designed and erected the most beautiful, elegant front entry we've ever seen or could have imagined. “Just finished a major renovation of our home with Oxbow--three bathrooms, kitchen work and other smaller changes. From start to finish they were professional. They are also extremely creative with interesting and wonderful ideas. And most of all, they are easy to work with. Communication was clear from the initial meetings on. Once work began, they arrived each day on time, cleaned up at the end of each day and were easy to have around the house. When issues came up during the renovation, which they always do, they were able to offer great solutions that were within our budget. We're thrilled with the outcome and intend to use them again for a basement project in the near future. Couldn't have been happier.”

They understood my green building goals, were eager to work with me, proved to be excellent and intelligent advisors, and executed professional building skills and knowledge. In addition, they worked well with me at every stage, in particular in making ongoing decisions and in keeping the project affordable. Three years past construction, I continue to be thrilled with my home. As a super-insulated, passive and active solar house that uses no fossil fuels, it is performing extremely well and costing a very small, fixed amount for energy. I would highly recommend Joe Carry and his team at Decumanus Green for small or large construction projects, especially those that have interest and concern for environmental sustainability.”

“Meticulous, fair, honest, easy to deal with, creative in both solving problems and making the job cost-effective. We've engaged Mr. Allentuck for several jobs, starting with replacing over 30 130-year-old windows a few years ago, and, last year, renovating our master bathroom (the project mentioned below). He is currently renovating our ancient porch and front doors and solving a flooding problem in our basement. There were other beautifully done jobs in between and there will be further jobs in the future.”
