I would highly recommend the Refresh team. All were professional and friendly plus the work was completed on schedule, which surprised me because it was a tight schedule. Tracy, Roger and James kept me informed throughout and replied to my queries quickly plus they gave good advice. If I decide to make further alterations in the future, I will be contacting them again.

We worked with Refresh Renovations last year to completely refurbish our old kitchen and conservatory. The initial phase and design phase were great as we were able to envisage the project step by step and had the support of a design Consultant to help us with the look we were going for. Ella was so helpful, suggesting tiles, paints, lighting, appliances and so on, putting together mood boards so we could make informed choices throughout the project. Roger and Tracey were also very professional and helpful in taking us through each step before the build. Our project manager once the build started was reliable and we knew the project was in good hands. A couple of issues arose as our PM for the build was not our original PM and this led to some errors in communication but these were resolved to our satisfaction. Budget was important to us and we did spend a little more than originally planned. Could we have done the project cheaper with a different company? Perhaps. Could we have achieved the outcome we did...a fantastic open plan kitchen and living space that is the hub of our home and a beautiful, light-filled garden room with stunning garden views...with another company? I don't think so!

My wife and I are both bitterly disappointed, frustrated and unhappy with the service we have received from Refresh Renovations. We raised our budget from the very beginning, ensuring before we committed that we had enough to achieve our goals and that we weren’t being unreasonable. The Refresh representative even contacted both Directors (Roger and Tracy) to ensure our budget was along the right lines before progressing forward. After months of going over designs with the team, we then met to review the estimation report. Taking into account we de-scoped a bathroom and were aiming for a basic spec, the report still came out over double our top budget. One of the things we were most disappointed by was that no one brought up the project coming in massively over budget until we had to say it to Roger and Tracy. They have acknowledged in subsequence emails that they knew budget was of upmost importance to us, yet it was still mentioned by no one until we said something and even then it felt like nobody really understood how ridiculously over-budget the quote was. This is extremely poor customer service. Either they both decided to ignore it or they just didn’t bother to look at our file. Both are unacceptable. We feel like we have been misled into getting the initial report done. We hope that going forward their team will take our feedback on board and that other customers do not have the same experience- we have wasted time and money on this- neither of which we can get back.

We have worked with Tracy and Roger several times on multiple projects and they have always surprised us by their proactiveness and professionalism throughout the project lifecycle. Thanks to their experience and practical, down-to-earth approach they can successfully manage customer expectations (budget, time frames, etc) and suggest the best, most efficient solutions that fit their needs. They also know exactly how to work with various trades and contractors both during the concept stage and later when the project goes into the build stage. Their eye for detail and knowledge ensure any risk related to the project is minimal and any issues are addressed and resolved straight away. Because they work only with the best professionals we never experienced any conflicts or issues regardless of how difficult and complex the project was. Rodger and Tracy were incredibly helpful when planning our bathroom renovation. They listened to what we wanted and worked with us to make the best use of our budget and existing bathroom. Multiple visits to the house to discuss the project meant that we could plan the small details which really made all the difference.

I have nothing but positive feedback when it comes to Roger and Tracy Kinsman and their approach to renovating properties and home improvements. I have seen at first hand, on many projects, the way in which both Roger and Tracy work on site. The first thing that struck me was the way they work as a team. Many times I have encountered the 'Husband and Wife' team scenario, and nine times out of ten it just does not work. Roger and Tracy are different. They compliment one another, both personally and in their acknowledgement of what skills they bring to the table individually. This makes them a well rounded and formidable team when it come to getting projects completed, both on time and within budget, which as anybody in the industry will tell you is vitally important. I remember the first time we met, I had arrived on site and remember being struck by the atmosphere. Different trades people all working in a timely, helpful and organised manner. Now this may sound like the norm, trust me it isn't, and this is all down to what I believe is their biggest skill, their ability to communicate. What they had created was harmony, and this had been achieved through effective communication. Every single trades person had been carefully chosen over time, had worked with Roger and Tracy before, knew exactly what was expected of them, and importantly, were able to work to Roger and Tracy's high levels of excellence. Roger and Tracy have skilfully surrounded themselves with people that they trust, and in turn those tradespeople trust them, this is priceless and can only be achieved through hard work, time and communication. Tracy's attention to detail is outstanding. Whether it is something as small as picking out the correct throw for a sofa, or as large as managing to have the foresight to see a 'walk-in' wardrobe where there just didn't seem to be the room, she just has that X-Factor that only comes from having an eye for these things, you cannot train that. Tracy deliver's her instructions concisely and without fuss, something those who work with her greatly appreciate and will continue to going forward. Tracy is the perfect foil for Roger's tenacity and likeability. Roger has an immense personality, on any site you have many egos, trades people who think they know best, the whole 'Alpha male' thing can be rife, trust me! Roger has a calm authority about him, he will always listen to what problems an individual will have, he then calmly and rationally, communicates his idea to get around said issue. He does this in a very respectful way, he understands he is not a trained Plasterer, Plumber or Electrician, but he respects the skills of those around him and it is this attitude that in turn sees that respect reciprocated. What you have is the perfect blend for Project management. Hard working, driven, focused, talented and extremely personable, put simply, these guys are the outstanding choice for all of your Property renovation and home improvement needs.

I have worked with Tracy & Roger on 2 refurb projects in the last 2 years, and also been indirectly involved in several others going back 3 years or so. Their approach has produced consistent results and has repeatedly transformed tired, problem properties into bright, spacious, beautiful family homes. Tracy clearly has a keen eye for interior design and she really understands form & function and this is evident in the way she has been able to maximise light, space and flow, which are key to producing appealing homes to suit current lifestyle trends. Roger is a very capable project manager and has a mass of people skills and he has shown that he is very skilled at organising each schedule of works to optimise time and spending in order to ensure that works can be completed within budget and on schedule. However, his real strength is his knack of building a team of high quality tradesmen who are all working towards a common purpose and this really moves things along at a great pace. Tracy & Roger are both open & honest, hardworking & reliable and also really pleasant to be around - just really nice people. In fact, they have become my first choice for refurbs in Sussex. We have worked with Roger and Tracy on a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. Their eye for quality was very much apparent, from their choices in quality products and workmanship, to the skilled and friendly tradesman they use. All effortlessly project managed to the timeframes and budget agreed. All in all a very pleasant and stress free renovation experience.

I viewed the renovated property on the market (for sale) and was impressed with the quality of the workmanship and finish in the rooms. The additional rooms were a good size and in keeping with the rest of the house. The kitchen layout maximised cupboard space but still created a light and airy space. The bathrooms were finished to a high standard. I would highly recommend this team for your project.
