“I required a fireplace for my living room that was to be a feature and change the rooms perspective. From the initial call and then visit to the shop I could not have been more grateful for the assistance I received. I have very limited knowledge of fireplaces and my wife had some specific requests and nothing was an issue. The fireplace was ordered and arrived within good time and I was constantly updated throughout the process. Excellent customer service.”

“The Temple was a triumph and AA was very efficient indeed in producing it on time…from getting the drawings in early December 2004, to them making the huge thing with colonnade, it was 16M wide. They made it , assembled it, disassembled it ( numbering each stone) and got it transported to arrive at Chelsea May 1st 2005. An extra 50??? stonemasons were taken on to do this in time. A most impressive job and we won a Silver medal for the big garden in which it sat, Savills Grand Tour garden. The Temple looked gorgeous and we had fun at the show with the AA trade stand there too. Also The new acquisition this year an English Bolection Fire surround in sandstone is a huge success too.”

“We are just full of praise for The Heating Centre - they did an absolutely super job for us! We needed advice and they helped us to decide on the most appropriate fire and stove for our new build house. We also wanted a gas fire for our small snug and they sourced and organised the installation of both fires for us expertly and professionally with HETAS and Gas Safe approved fitters. We have been very impressed with their customer care. We would have no hesitation in recommending this Coventry family run company to anyone in the West Midlands / Warwickshire area who wants to install a beautiful new fire or stove for their home.”

“When designing our extension, we started looking at log burning stoves to create a feature. Having done a fairly exhaustive internet search where we discovered that anything out of the ordinary was frighteningly expensive and frankly not really what we were looking for, we were pointed in the direction of James the Firemaker by an acquaintance. A series of emails and telephone conversations followed during which we explained what we wanted and James showed us a number of suggestions. The requirement for a door created a few stumbling blocks but between us we came up with the rather unusual flap down door enabling the fire to become a stove instead of the rather less efficient open fire (a feature that did not seem to exist on anything else we could find in the swivelling circular fire market). Deposit paid and the fire ordered, we were given the specification for the supporting structure to be built into the ceiling and when the time came and the building work was almost complete, James delivered the fire and even assisted in the installation. The result is a fantastic fire which is the focal point of the room and a talking point for anybody seeing it for the first time. It was delivered on time and budget, the design is exactly what we wanted and the workmanship is superb. I would wholeheartedly recommend James for anybody looking for something out of the ordinary.”

“We have used Decorum to design, supply and fit 2 fire surrounds/hearths and 3 wood burning stoves. They provide an excellent service form start to finish holding your hand all the way through from initial home survey, design, choice of stoves through, fitting to completion . Their fitters are very professional and tidy and the end products looks amazing once the projects have been completed. Great service, knowledge, value and customer service - I couldn't recommend them enough!!! Paul Morris”

“Darren and the team did a super job. I was very concerned about the mess with removal of brickwork, plastering etc and I can't fault them. The place was kept super clean and tidy. Nothing was too much trouble. They took the time to talk us through options and work with us to get the best result, all whilst being good humoured and professional. Fit and finish was to a super standard and we're delighted with the result. Very highly recommended.”
