“We came to JMS Design from a referral from our interior designer. We started this project with a dirt lot and everything was built from ground up. We wanted an east coast feeling to our landscape with areas that we could enjoy as well as space for the kids to play. This was achieved through the pool and knot garden areas. Also the entertainment pool house has been a big hit with the outdoor tv and adjacent barbecue being used regularly. The installation went smoothly and we enjoy the plantings and bluestone and brick paving.”

“Aaron's team did a fantastic job transforming our muddy, uncomfortable backyard into an inviting space we truly enjoy. The rear of our property sits under a dense canopy and was unusable for our daughter and dog. The design Aaron & Hadiza envisioned met all our needs, providing multiple seating areas and blending the existing architecture with new elements, all while using a naturalistic but low maintenance planting scheme. We now have a beautiful, modern and safe space for our daughter to play and comfortably entertain 20 guests. The construction process went smoothly. The crew was efficient and used high quality materials while staying within budget. When labor costs exceeded the budget, there was open communication and we were able to find a middle ground. “We wanted a change to our rather pedestrian front lawn. We were recommended to Urban Oasis by a satisfied friend. Essentially, we wanted a grassless front lawn with herbs - drought resistant plants - rocks and gravel artistically placed with some color highlights and an overall feeling of serenity. We reviewed some lawns that we liked and Urban Oasis came up with a unique design that met our needs but was cost effective. Debbie G. submitted drawings and estimates. Her crews were superb. She worked right along with the gardeners and supervised the tree trimmers, etc., Project came in under estimate..”

“Mclaughlin installed hardscape in my backyard consisting of spa with waterfall, fireplace, retaining walls, raised patio with dual steps, pilasters and custom benches. The hardscape turned out beautiful. High quality material consisting of travertine and stacking stone , excellent color/texture for stone work, grand looking custom colored concrete caps on retaining walls and pilasters. High quality spa equipment. The curves for walkways and walls add an interesting dimension to yard. Jerry has a key eye for art which he is able to translate into his landscaping projects.”
