“I hired Robert to replicate an interior door with a couple requested changes, and it turned out great! My house was built in 1928 with very nice multiple level molding single panel doors. I have two cats and wanted to relocate the litter box to the basement, and so I needed to install a pet door, but I knew I would butcher the door if I did it myself. I also wanted the door to be longer as we are taking out the thick carpet and refinishing the hardwood floors, and the bottom gap from the current door would be too large. I called several places for quotes on the project, 4 responded. Two were insanely expensive, at $2k and $4k for the project. Robert's price at $530 was right inline with the 4th quote, but he was more responsive and I liked his website showcasing past work. Robert was easy to work with and quickly understood what I was looking for. He was flexible with evening pickup and delivery times, allowing me to not miss work. When he delivered the door, he quickly made the modifications needed to have the new door fit fit in the old, non-square frame. I'd highly recommend him and have attached some pictures for comparison (old door is painted).”

Michael was so knowledgeable about an amazing closet systems partner they have called Presotto. Everything was custom designed from the dimensions to the compartments to the gorgeous wooden finish. The unparalleled customer service did not stop after the sale was made. I was able reach out with questions and concerns at odd hours and weekends and still was happily assisted. I am so pleased with the final product and would recommend Il Decor to anyone who wants the best quality, of both product and service, when redecorating or remodeling their home.”

“This company is phenomenal. Not only is their product authentic, but it is also beautiful. I am SOOOO happy with my Farm Table. The chairs that I ordered with it are great, they are durable and comfortable, especially for a heavy guy like me. If I had gone with another company, I don´t think I would have been equally satisfied. I got exactly what I was buying. Totally worth it!!!!!!”

“I was looking to have a reclaimed oak dining table made and found the folks at Thompson were a good fit. They were helpful in advising me about materials and finish and were flexible to changes to make the piece my own. The table came out great, as did the chairs that they stained and finished to match what they had created. Communication was good, prices were fair, delivery and set up were as promised. I would recommend them without hesitation.”

“We worked with Saltwoods to design a custom dining table for our home. We wanted something that would be highly functional but also beautiful and sophisticated. Saltwoods helped us understand all the different options for materials and finish, and we ended up with a beautiful walnut table that met all of our specifications. We are thrilled with the result and have received many compliments when we have people over for family gatherings and dinner parties. The table is also extremely well built and is durable enough to withstand three young children (and all their art projects). The Saltwoods team provided excellent service and came back to make minor modifications as needed to achieve the end result we desired. Working with local craftsmen who take pride in their work makes all the difference!”

“Taima was very patient and considerate as we worked through how my wife and I wanted to incorporate sentimental materials into our piece. The material was taken from an old barn my father-in-law had and we carried with us to Boston. Taima was able to incorporate the wood beautifully into our more modern head board. We went through many iterations with her before deciding on the direct we wanted to go. Tiama is a skilled craftswoman and is committed to her customers satisfaction.”

“I have several exquisite Pieces done by Pieces. One is a four door armoire. It has enough room to use as a closet, set of clothes draws or a TV; however I had them put in draws with two long doors. On the bottom there are two smaller doors which have two draws behind them. I wanted it designed this way so I can entertain company without it looking like a bedroom. I also had them build a two sided serpentine TV bureau with a motorized lift in it for my TV. When I put the television down into the furniture Pieces designed a faux marble insert so it can be closed and used as a buffet table when there’s company. The hand paint that I had chosen was floral on the front and striped on the sides. The colors that I chose match my room perfectly since I gave them a color swatch with all the colors I wanted in my pieces. Needless to say it looks magnificent. I couldn’t be more pleased. It's nice to have someone make what you ask for.”
