“Kira is engaging, enthusiastic, and easy to work with. Her personality traits made the process of staging our beloved home of 30 years in La Canada a more enjoyable task than we thought it would be. Before making any suggestions, she spent time talking to us about our home; we found this to be extremely considerate of Kira. She studied each room, as well as the backyard, where it was evident that her thoughts were, as she described, "percolating". At this point it became clear that Kira had the keen ability to access the strength & personality of each room in our home. She accomplished this by using specific furnishings and items which she creatively and thoughtfully rearranged. She brought in other items to accentuate each room. By utilizing our furnishings, Kira was able to keep the overall cost of staging our home within a reasonable price range.. Additionally, we felt this was still "our home" during the sales process. The finished product was quite stunning- it made for great online photos and videos of our house. Our potential buyer asked whether the furnishings could be part of the sale-this we attribute to Kira's artistic arrangement. We cannot say enough about this very talented and professional designer.”

“Roger is easy to talk to and Francine at Form and Function did a really nice upholstery project for me. I needed cushions remade because the original manufacturer had made them the wrong size and the were too soft. The original had 3 cushions but I wanted two of the cushions to become 1 large cushion. They we able to use the existing fabric and it turned out great. Now I have 2 nice large cushions that are the correct size and make the whole sectional look great. I will be hiring them again soon.”

“All I can say is WOW! We hired Pharaoh Mfg to design and manufacture furniture for our game room. Our experience from the estimate to manufacturing to completion was second to none. Vaughn helped us design our modern game room furniture and let me say AMAZING... They were very professional and courteous to our needs and wants. “Sofa Interiors facilities and resources are extensive. They deliver quality workmanship and service whether it's recovering a set of dining chairs or an extensive project for a corporate client like nearby Disney. I am an extremely difficult, fastidious customer, a retired art director. I know my design and know what I want. For a baby's nursery, I wanted the best possible, detailed work for the lowest price. Scott, the owner of Sofa Interiors, showed patience and knowledge of his craft as he answered all my questions, using the upholstery material I brought to him. He took a family heirloom 1910 bedroom chair, repaired the springs, retied them. He convinced me that I did need a foam back and seat, even though I was afraid that he wouldn't cut the foam to resemble the fit of old time "stuffing". He was careful to keep the old studs intact, replace some missing hardware and to refinish the wood exactly to the color I described. Although I didn't have a color swatch for the paint, he provided a white with slight blue tint that I wanted. He re-finished a 1950's dresser in the same paint, repairing the drawers. He brought in both pieces completed under a ten day deadline. The pieces are beautiful, unusual and the focal point of a modern nursery. I am deeply indebted to Scot for being an artist, as well as an artisan.”

“After 30 years of passing by this magnificent store (10 min. from home!) I decided to stop in. I was remodeling a house and needed new furniture as well. I was delighted! From the breathtakingly beautiful Amish-crafted pieces upstairs, to the wonderful and knowledgeable Douglas family and friends who helped and advised me, and to the incredibly professional delivery team, I am in love with Douglas Furniture.
