“I am a building designer and Schmidt & Schmidt Construction has built many of my projects. I have found them to be a very talented group to work with from office staff to construction workers. They do beautiful work from rough to finish. I have found them to be good problem solvers which can be very important sometimes in remodel or addition projects - not "how do I solve this?" - their attitude is always "here is the issue and this is how we think it can be solved". I my experience, they do excellent work at a reasonable price. I always look forward to working with Schmidt & Schmidt Construction.”

Sue, Erling and Jim have worked together for many years in the contruction business here in the Santa Ynez Valley and neighboring communities. They have have worked on projects, both large and small for myself and my husband. There is nothing they can’t do professionally and in a timely manner. They recently completely remodeled my home and I can’t tell you how happy I am with the finished product. They use only the best subcontractors and they are respected by their clients and employees. “We have worked with Jack "n" Toolbox a number of times over the last two decades. They have remodeled a bathroom, rebuilt two exterior staircases, repaired a slab leak, built a laundry room, replaced a spiral staircase with a straight drop one and remodeled the room into which it descended and, most important of all, identified and corrected a major building error made by a previous owner which surfaced during the torrential rains of January 2005. In all instances, their work was over and above anything we might have hoped for. The employees of the company listen carefully to our wishes and provide helpful input; they are prompt, respectful and tidy. It has been our pleasure to recommend Jack 'n' Toolbox to several friends, some of whom have acted up on our recommendation.”

“Matt, our general contractor, was professional and experienced. Had great subs. Produced high quality work with few problems. Came in on budget and respected our concern for costs. Had good ideas and made constructive suggestions, but never pushed his agenda. We remodeled the kitchen, two bathrooms, living room fireplace with built-ins, custom closets, and replaced flooring as well as painting the entire house. All of this was done while we were living in the house! Matt made it work for everyone. Terrific job.”

“I have had the pleasure of working with Hybrid Construction on multiple home improvement projects as well as remodels. Whether the project is large in size or small they are always friendly and professional. They offer design recommendations and suggestions as well as preforming the actual work to get the job done. The owner is always responsive to my many questions and takes the time to explain the pros and cons of the various options that are presented to me for my project. When you hire Hybrid Construction for your project you can be assured that the owner will be on the job site on daily basis, not just at the time that you sign the contract. As we all know, this is not always the case w/ General Construction companies. This is 1 major differentiator in my opinion, between Hybrid and other companies. I have been living and working from my home while construction is being preformed. I truly appreciate Hybrid Construction's attention to detail in both the creative space as well as the day to day cleanliness of the job site. To know that my home will be left neat and tidy and the end of the working day is a relief! Hybrid Construction represents a team of honest, reliable, creative and hard working individuals.
