“So Cal Builders and Design did a massive remodeling job on my condominium earlier this year in March. The condo was bought by me last year for a really great value, relative to living in L.A. heh, but the problem was it was fairly "worn" from use from the previous tenants who I gathered weren't particularly good neighbors. Regardless, with the great value that So Cal Builders gave me when I called them over to go over the estimate, made it all worth while. I had a limited budget, but they worked with what I had. Regardless of the limitations, they did a fantastic job with the kitchen by adding new cabinets, re-flooring and re-painting the kitchen walls. The living room and the hallway got a brand new coat of paint, and they removed the ugly and stained carpet to replace with laminate flooring. My girlfriend and I wanted them to make sure they paid extra attention to the bathroom and bedroom. So that was where the majority of the work went. Not to mention that the bathroom was a god awful mess that needed a new plumbing job! We replaced the bath tub that was taking so much space with a standing shower, which gave us tons more room, new vanity and lighting. Over all the job was fantastically done!”

“We received several quotes from contractors, some of whom tried to up sell or told us we couldn't do what we had envisioned and would need a completely different floor plan. But most were very pleasant and 3 came in at approximately the same bid price of 48,000. In the end, we chose IND Construction because we liked David and believed he would do what he said he would do. In the beginning David told us the job would take between 2 and 4 months to complete and it ended up taking a little over 2 months. Their were a few glitches along the way, such as finding that the wall we knocked out was in fact a retaining wall after the engineer had said that it wasn't. Or when a member of one work crew knocked our driveway gate out of the wall and just propped it back up without telling us. But as soon as any problem was encountered David had it fixed immediately, including figuring out how to put a giant beam across our ceiling to replace the retaining wall at no extra charge. Living in a construction zone for 2 months is never pleasant but the majority of subcontractors used by IND are very professional, clean and friendly. This made the experience better than expected. We would definitely work with David and his team again and we are very pleased with how well everything turned out.”

“Fidelity Builders and Design did a complete remodeling project of our kitchen and two full bathrooms. The work included new cabinets, marble counter tops and raising the lower ceiling in kitchen by 2’, removed all the popcorn ceiling around the house, fix the necessary spots at the ceiling & paint, installing new tile floors in the living room, dining room and entry hall, installation of ceiling fan w/lights in all rooms including all the bedrooms and replace the fireplace/mantel. Repaint all the interior walls. The whole design was done by the designer of the company and she did a perfect job. After the work was completed and done, I can say that this was a top notch work that was done by professional people. The new cabinets are particularly excellent and they fit like a glove and added so much beauty to my kitchen. The job took few weeks longer than what Tal estimated at the time of reviewing and planning the work schedule, the delay made sense because of few problems that they found out after the demolition of the walls and due to a minor delay with the supply of the cabinets and marble top (which is normal and things happened during this type of big remodeling projects). Tal communications skills were excellent and even with my list for minor things that needed his attention & correction upon completion. Tal did fixed all the items without any problem and with a lot of professionalism.”

“My wife and I have strived all our property-owning lives to avoid major subcontractors, for all the reasons you would imagine. They are too big, too expensive, not concerned with individual clients' welfare so much as getting them done with -- you know the routine. Not so GroundUp. After a great deal of research, I took a flyer on their owner, Uzi, and his well-intended and comported staff. We installed a full solar array -- no mean feat. They finished the work in a bit over a day. The result wasn't just efficient -- it was art, especially when they found themselves having to redo a crumbling roof in the process. Their work was impeccable, reasonably priced, and together, we put the boot to the power company, which just goes on its merry way upping rates at 5 percent a year. Wish I could do that well at a Savings & Loan. It's been three months and I owe the power company squat. If you have any doubts, ask Uzi for my number -- I am happy to give personal tours. That is, if you can manage to see anything -- the 20 or so panels I bought are so expertly tucked away you need a ladder or drone to see them.”
