“After 34 years of marriage and many moves we were finally ready to put down roots and build our forever home and we are so happy that Troy and Lisa Parker agreed to partner with us on this project! They were an absolute pleasure to work with- responsive, professional and organized. They have a good working relationship with their high quality and reputable subcontractors and there is a commitment to excellence throughout the building process. Both Troy and Lisa were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The sheer volume of details/decisions that go into building a custom home can be overwhelming to say the least, but Troy and Lisa are always calm and focused- you know you are in good hands. Our house had a number of challenging custom features, e.g., old doors, custom vent hood, reclaimed beams, vintage beadboard wall- Troy and Lisa worked closely with us always going the extra mile to ensure we were happy with the end result. They are a great team with Troy's experience and knowledge of the industry and Lisa's strong organizational skills keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes and managing the budget. We are thrilled with our beautiful home and feel so blessed that we get to live here. Troy and Lisa were a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them to anyone considering building or remodeling.”

“We asked several companies to bid on our replacement of cedar posts on our patio and gazebo. Paul came to our house to see what the project would entail. He also brought the team leaders to get their input and then provided a quote with an itemized budget. His quote was fair, and he addressed our concerns. Throughout the job he kept us informed of the progress and any potential problems. He was straight forward and honest. It was a pleasure to deal with him. The work was more than satisfactory and was completed on time. We plan to consider his company (Homeco) for future projects. We highly recommend him.”

“We went through four builders before selecting Kevin and Broadshield. My husband and I wanted a Barndominium of our design built on our property. I can honestly say that we made the right choice with Broadshield and we highly recommend Kevin and his team. We have observed the building process closely and know that Broadshield uses quality materials, expert tradesmen and they don’t cut corners. “I can’t speak highly enough of RK Barker Inc. From the very beginning of the process Rodney K Barker, Inc (RKB) stood out above the others(we met with other highly rated contractors for estimates also). Rodney was patient and knowledgeable, and even met us at some of his suppliers to gauge our taste in materials and the associated costs that would incur so that his estimate could be accurate and so we could be educated clients to the process for whichever company we choose even before we committed to RKB. Rodney is a christian man with integrity, honesty and I would have no problem recommending RKB for ANY sized project. He hires hardworking and trustworthy employees and we never once in five months felt uneasy about anyone who entered our home. Other highlights of why I recommend RKB: 1. Supervisor was onsite if any contractor was on our property. This guaranteed quality control and the security of not having to worry about things walking off the job. 2. Honest and hardworking employees JC, Raul, Jacob, Don, Leo and others were GREAT!!! 3. I wasn’t pressured for money EVER....and disbursements were never asked for in advance(except the initial project startup allotment which was pre-agreed upon). This was refreshing with a few previous experiences I’ve had with OTHER contractors. In fact, on two occasions I was told to wait to pay an allotment till the end of the week because the work wasn’t quite complete yet (refreshing that companies still exist like this). All that said I’d like to say just meet Rodney and you’ll see the difference. Pics are before the covering on the floor was removed and everything completely finished. House is all wood floors except the baths and utility.”
