“Imbuia Construction did major reconstruction on my kitchen, bathroom, bedroom. They changed my stairs and hallway from carpet to bamboo and painted the entire house. They rid major areas of black mold and and rebuilt areas that had been responsible for the mold. All of these projects involved rerouting electricity, updating plumbling and ceilings, removing walls and replacing old tile with granite, new cabinets, and appliances. I found Warren Bregman, contractor, to be easily available and communicative. His crew was on time or called if they were running late. They also cleaned each day as to leave the house as livable as possible until the project was completed. I had dealt with other crews in past projects and had always been very disappointed in the quality of the workmanship and work ethic. Imbuia Construction came highly recommended and I see why. I always call on them for projects large and small. Trust is important to me.”

“We received several quotes from contractors, some of whom tried to up sell or told us we couldn't do what we had envisioned and would need a completely different floor plan. But most were very pleasant and 3 came in at approximately the same bid price of 48,000. In the end, we chose IND Construction because we liked David and believed he would do what he said he would do. In the beginning David told us the job would take between 2 and 4 months to complete and it ended up taking a little over 2 months. Their were a few glitches along the way, such as finding that the wall we knocked out was in fact a retaining wall after the engineer had said that it wasn't. Or when a member of one work crew knocked our driveway gate out of the wall and just propped it back up without telling us. But as soon as any problem was encountered David had it fixed immediately, including figuring out how to put a giant beam across our ceiling to replace the retaining wall at no extra charge. Living in a construction zone for 2 months is never pleasant but the majority of subcontractors used by IND are very professional, clean and friendly. This made the experience better than expected. We would definitely work with David and his team again and we are very pleased with how well everything turned out.”

“I was referred to America Green Builders by my friend and I'm glad I contacted them, first I was talking to them about all my plans and changes I would like to do in my house and what I would like to see in the end as a result, they were super nice and professional, everything was on time, no delay. What I really appreciate that they were following the contract deal we made, but I got what I wanted to...quality, punctuality and the result. We have been extremely impressed by them. “I hired Green renovation group to do an energy efficiency job at my house. The job included work in the attic, crawlspaces and major insulation at the garage. I’m happy with the overall service that I got from David and his company Green renovation group. The first consultation meeting was very productive and honest than the other companies that I met. I felt very secure with David's knowledge and the quality of his initial assessment. The overall work got increased as i decided that I wanted to do more work than originally planned. All the people that worked at my house (total of 3) were cooperative and the project rolled out easily. David did a wonderful amount of research about some things that were not usual. I wanted new insulation, new walls and more efficiency. After all the research that David did and the consultation he provided me with, we moved forward with the agreed upon plan and it was executed well. David and his team were willing to come over as needed for small finishing touches, questions, and more... He definitely went above and beyond on multiple occasions.”

“My wife and I have strived all our property-owning lives to avoid major subcontractors, for all the reasons you would imagine. They are too big, too expensive, not concerned with individual clients' welfare so much as getting them done with -- you know the routine. Not so GroundUp. After a great deal of research, I took a flyer on their owner, Uzi, and his well-intended and comported staff. We installed a full solar array -- no mean feat. They finished the work in a bit over a day. The result wasn't just efficient -- it was art, especially when they found themselves having to redo a crumbling roof in the process. Their work was impeccable, reasonably priced, and together, we put the boot to the power company, which just goes on its merry way upping rates at 5 percent a year. Wish I could do that well at a Savings & Loan. It's been three months and I owe the power company squat. If you have any doubts, ask Uzi for my number -- I am happy to give personal tours. That is, if you can manage to see anything -- the 20 or so panels I bought are so expertly tucked away you need a ladder or drone to see them.”

“When our committee interviewed the architects and the contractors it was apparent to us that Forest Construction Co. and Jim Thayer Architect was a good match. They had worked together before so that was a plus. Forest Construction selected a Superintendent that was a perfect fit for project. Forest Construction save us money by suggesting better ways to do particular jobs, and looked out for us in many ways. Their management and employee were very respectful and courteous. They did all the city interfacing which was a big help. We would have meeting every two weeks or when needed and the owner (Jim Rice and Ernesto Sepulveda) would attend frequently. They built a 17,000 sq feet church Sanctuary with bathrooms, kitchen, nurseries and Sunday school rooms.”
