“I used Aspen for our project, it was our second move from a flat to a house. We bought a house which required a complete refurbishment, in addition we decided to extend the property to the rear along with a loft conversion. The works took 8 months to complete as the entire house was gutted along with front and rear garden landscaping. Aspen were exceptional to work with from start to finish, very accommodating with some additional alterations which we decided to carry out during the build. They were also top guys, always pleasant, polite, tidy, accurate and helpful. The building work is actually the one part of the project that really didn't suffer issues, thanks to Remi's and his team's professionalism. I would recommend Inventive Designs for structuring jobs, kitchen installation, heavy building work, plumbing and electrics. Decorating was good but maybe less their forte. Budget was appropriate for the extent of the works. I would recommend that you list very precisely everything that you want to be done at the onset as little things not estimated initially and delivered after can quickly add up. However, the total budget was certainly justified by the quality of the final product. We wouldn't hesitate in hiring Inventive Designs again for another big project. It was a real pleasure to work with them. An honest, expert and friendly building company. That doesn't come around often!”

“Just excellent. Having had a terrible experience with a bad builder on our last renovation, I was very careful, and hit gold with these guys. Not the cheapest builder that I have worked with (but not the priciest either). But by far the best. Friends of mine recently took a cheaper quote after talking to DeCrew and going with a cheaper quote with a smaller company - they are now in penalty clauses on the contract, unable to move in, and in real trouble: significantly over budget. They should have used DeCrew. My massive project was habitable and decorated in 3 months. I did not believe Maciek when he told me he would do it. With a minimum of 6 people (and up to 10) on site any given day, all day, and his personal attention, they were done earlier than his estimate. Below are links to the story on here that so many of you commented on and lived through with me. Maciek and Konrad are exactly what I wanted - young, interested, full of enthusiasm, eyes for detail and with a strong team that meant they finished on schedule, and on budget. Transparent quoting, responsive, and fair. They ran a particularly complicated build for me as I was on a VAT reduction entitlement as the building had been abandoned for a while - as they are a proper, VAT registered company, this was no problem for them. And just really nice people - my wife and I loved them and welcomed them to our home. We still owe them a barbecue/Sunday lunch as a thank you, in fact. And the true test of a builder is what happens when things go wrong. A full year after the house was finished, they are returning to snag things: as Maciek said: "let it settle for a year through all the seasons, then we will fix stuff". “We used TN Design & Build to construct a single storey rear extension, modify a kitchen, study, dining room and hallway, including a new staircase. Exterior works included a large raised terrace and patio area. The site was established to a high standard with security fencing to protect our front and rear garden and included a welfare hut, site toilet, skip and safe storage of materials. The work was all to a high standard and supervised by a site foreman throughout. Sub-contractors worked to the same exacting standards. There was good transparency around budget which included a Bill of Quantities and two weekly valuations, meaning we never paid for more than completed work or materials on site. Communication with Tom was very good, and the project was completed ahead of time and within the agreed budget. I would not hesitate to recommend TN Design & Build to others.”
