“Todd built out two closets for us, a master and second bedroom, and did an excellent job! He was professional, knowledgable and a pleasure to work with. He accurately measured our space, presented creative options based on our budget and organization needs, and installed everything perfectly. The 3D drawings he made were super helpful with detailed measurements. Todd was also super about working around our contractors and movers. We's hire Todd again for all our closet and organization needs.”

“I contacted numerous closet companies to get quotes. Tim was a great price and very easy to work with. He explained everything well, gave me many options and was very professional, yet friendly. The closet install went perfectly, the installed was fast. The closets were in my budget and totally meet the needs I had for organization. FYI we installed closets for our children along with a guest room/play room!”

“I have referred California Closets to my clients several times over the past few years. As a General Contractor and owner of Showcase Interiors Ltd. in Vancouver, BC, Canada I have experienced nothing but positive results from this company. They have always been professional and provided a quality product and service.”

“My wife and I found Eric here on Houzz and thought his work looked wonderful and invited him out to our home to see what he could do for us. He has many offering from inexpensive to the most custom cutting edge designs. After several iterations in design we finally settle on a plan we liked. We selected a textured wood grain material that was very much like what California closets had shown us. When Eric was done it looked fantastic. The custom made hard rock maple drawers had dovetailed construction and the finish on them was much nicer than on cabinets we looked at. I would be glade to recommend Eric to anyone. He likes his job and it shows.”

“ShelfGenie provides unique designer solutions to problems for storage in your kitchen, bathroom, pantry and linen closets., etc. A designer comes to your home, examines your cupboards, etc., discusses your concerns and draws out a solution that transforms your kitchen and other cupboards into a great functional space with their glide-out drawer systems. This saves you time, and money to be able to find everything in your kitchen or bath. You'll love the results! I collaborate with the owner of the ShelfGenie Seattle franchise's with many of his clients. I am independent interior designer.”

“After posting our original bad review (see below), Mark called us and deeply apologized for the screw-up. He said he wanted us to be happy with their services, and offered to have the mirror re-measured and re-installed free of charge. They just came over to remove the old mirror and re-install a new one, and this one looks fantastic, just the way we had imagined it. Thanks to Mark for handling this situation gracefully and thanks to Dennis and Ron for taking extra care to make sure the installation was exactly how we wanted it. *** We gave them 3 requirements for the home gym mirror we wanted them to install: it should start above the outlets, be 6 feet tall, and go wall to wall, left to right. Michelle sent us a design that looked good to us and we signed off on it. When the installers came we realized that the mirror had a 2 inch gap on the left and right, instead of going wall to wall as we had specified. So I called Michelle. She first told me that the 2 inches were necessary for the installation. That was not true. The installers had just told me that they only needed 1/2 inch on either side, so I told Michelle that. She then replied that if I didn't like the design I shouldn't have signed off on it. Only after looking at the design again did I see a small "2"RV" hand-written on both sides. How am I supposed to know what "RV" means? The drawing of the mirror does not show the wall or the gap, and therefore it's really not obvious that there would be a gap. Michelle next said that if I wanted it fixed I would have to pay in full for the new parts and installation. Although I do realize our mistake for signing off on the design, I think that above all it was her mistake for not having designed it according to our specification and for not making the differences in the design clear. She did not acknowledge her error, did not apologize, and did not offer a solution that would solve the problem. The whole point of paying $1265 for a mirror was so that we would have a custom size going wall to wall. We considered buying a set of mirrors at Ikea for a fraction of the cost, but we didn't do it because we really wanted the wall to wall look. We are now stuck with a very pricey mirror we thoroughly dislike in our new custom house, and there is nothing we can do about it.”
