Passionate about bringing colour and warmth into a space, Amber Yard stands for an eclectic timeless aesthetic. Creating spaces that radiate atmosphere and warmth, we make rooms that are both aesthetically beautiful yet functional to your living requirements. Combining the quirks of the old with the flamboyancy of the new, we bring together colour, pattern, texture and form to make a space sing with joy and beauty. Offering a complete design service from smaller E-Designs to larger full renovations of residential properties. Based in South West London covering areas such as Greater London, Surrey, York to Scotland, no project is too distant. Please do get in touch if you have a project you would like to discuss.

At the end of a long house build we had run out of steam to complete the interiors but Tess made the entire experience really enjoyable. From the first meeting, she understood the look we were after for each room and did an amazing job from sourcing furniture, fabrics, rugs, wallpapers etc through to delivery of the finished room. Tess pays attention to the details, has a good eye for colour, has great communication skills, and is very organised, she is a true professional. Thank you!

Bring a neglected former church hall back into life is no easy task . Amber Yard achieved this and delivered a new fit out that elevates the hall in a competitive market. There has been thought in the materials used that gives the wow factor yet remains easy to clean such as flooring and wall panelling , neat incorporation of space saving shelving for the storage of chairs and ability to flex the dead wall space between kitchen and hall using a butlers hatch . This feature allows the hall to cater for private dinners where there is a need to transfer between the two area and activities such as Pilates where the kitchen needs to be closed off to create the atmosphere required.

Turned the images in my head into a reality, by working with contractors, designing the joinery work for built in wardrobes, stunning book cases and a wonderful entertaining kitchen. And sourcing beautiful and fun objects and furniture to give me a totally finished home. Makes my life easier and provides skills and creativity to make a building site a home!

Tess from Amber Yard has helped us with a couple of projects now. First furnishing a London Town House from top to bottom and second for an extension of and refurb of an older property in Scotland from receipt of planning through to move in, decorated and furnished. Tess gives practical, knowledgeable and beautiful advice. I was always wary of using a designer as I didn’t want to end up with something that didn’t reflect me and our family but Tess listens really well and asks loads of questions and we’ve ended up with “us” but a million better. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and have indeed recommended her to lots of our friends.

Amber Yard has gone above and beyond with turning my house into a beautiful home, colours which I would normally shy away from she has created a beautiful space with personality in every room. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an interior designer who cares about the client and put all her effort into making you feel a priority and creating stunning spaces with her skills

I called Amber Yard and spoke with Tess, and I instantly felt reassured I had the help required. She joined me on a site visit thereafter she simply took control. Tess understood exactly what we were looking for, and went to work. Besides regular updates to myself, she liaised with all on-site contractors during execution, thereafter delivering the most incredible warm & relaxing living space ever! Mixing soft & bold furnishings which just blow you away. An incredible job with an extravagant feel, but great value too. I knew then I’d be calling on Tess again! Thanks Tess, you certainly took the stress away from me.
