Caroline did a great job providing spatial planning advice and detailed drawings that we could give to any builder, to start the renovation works we wanted to our house. Caroline was professional, competent and we had confidence that she had the knowledge and experience to give us the best service. The plans she provided were clear, detailed and provided a vision of what our kitchen / open plan dining could look like which was exciting. I would be more than happy to recommend Caroline for anyone thinking of doing works and don’t know where to start!!

I have no hesitation in recommending Caroline for home design. We had a whole house renovation and extension and with Caroline’s expert eye she made invaluable suggestions ranging from structural to room design. Her ideas gave us a lighter, more workable house that flows very well and in some cases saved us quite a lot of money. She was very flexible in what aspects of the project we asked of her and we didn’t feel pressurized at all. We didn’t really know what we wanted in our lounge and garden room but she listened carefully to our ideas, gave us some websites for styles and then made some suggestions which we loved. When I was unsure she gave us a wider range of samples and reassuringly accompanied me to when making our largest purchase. I felt that we worked in partnership, giving us ownership of the finished result but with the guidance of an expert. We are absolutely delighted with the finished result and are the envy of our friends!

We tasked Caroline from Bolthole design to re-plan our downstairs area and use the space more efficiently. We are knocking down a wall to join up the kitchen, living and dining areas but couldn't work out how best to do it. Caroline created 2 good options for us and once we'd selected our preferred choice she has drawn up all the plans to take to builders for quotes. The process was really hepful and we are pleased with the result. I'd be very happy to recommend Caroline for space planning to anyone.

Caroline helped us with a project to refresh the decor and furniture in our kitchen, dining room and lounge. This included making recommendations on a different layout for the rooms, colour schemes for paint, new flooring, new sofas and a built-in storage unit for our dining room. We were delighted with the end result and Caroline added value from start to finish by listening carefully to what we wanted and making practical suggestions that made far better use of the rooms. Although she charged for her time, she helped us save a lot of money through discounts she had with local suppliers so we felt we got great value from working with her. Caroline provided an excellent service. We re decorated our large family kitchen/dining/living area, with new cupboards, furniture, wallpaper and blinds. I had never used an interior designer before. It made the whole process much easier with a budget that I was happy with. The whole family are very happy with the end result.

Clueless about designing my new build home, Caroline came to the rescue! She helped me with room layout, designing a custom-made wardrobe, sourcing furniture and accessories, colour schemes. Everything was done within the budget agreed. Incredibly organised with spreadsheets, designs and fotos, she liaised with companies on my behalf, and on the day of the move was on hand all day to deal with any problems. Sympathetic to my lack of style-sense! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

We used the service to plan a conversion of our dated kitchen, dining room and a storage room into an open plan kitchen/diner and utility room with a sun room extension. Although we had an idea of what we wanted, we were struggling to visualise the new space. We had an initial consultation with Caroline to discuss our lifestyle and to determine how we wanted to use the new area. She then produced a series of designs based on our requirements and helped us with both practicalities of the conversion and visualising how the new area could best be used. She has contacts in other professions and can recommend architects etc if necessary. The end result is a beautiful bright living area which we could never have envisaged without Caroline's expertise. Caroline is a pleasure to work with and we can highly recommend this service.

We used Caroline to help add some colour to our home - Caroline guided us through the process in a really friendly but professional manner. The colour cards that Caroline uses are a really helpful way of visualising the effect on the walls in the different rooms. Consideration was given to how we wanted the room to feel as well as what it was used for, we felt we still had lots of input in choosing the colours but would have never come up with the choices without Carolines help. Caroline did offer to organise a painter/decorator but we decided to carry out the work ourselves, she did however source the paint for us and wallpaper. We were thrilled with the colours as they went up, there was one area where 2 colours met which was the only thing we were unsure of and Caroline suggested a solution which worked perfectly. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Caroline again and have recommended her to friends in the area.

Caroline provided us with a much more modern interior look by clever use of colour and fabrics. The overall result is fresh, crisp and striking.

A recent project with Caroline has transformed my house. All aspects of the work have been completed to a very high standard. After a couple of meetings, a comprehensive design scheme was produced with suggestions for furniture layout, furniture design and interior design advice. She also has a number of contacts for furniture designer, joiner and decorator - all of whom I can also recommend. Caroline's vision with colour schemes is very impressive along with her attention to detail. To top it off, the whole project remained within budget.
