“We can’t recommend Elsa from Vanko Interiors highly enough. We are delighted with the finished product (interior design of all common living spaces), looking forward to the next stage (bedrooms and exterior) and have found the process relaxed and fun. Elsa’s design skills and knowledge are impeccable and her communication and organisational skills make working with her both easy and very enjoyable. My husband and I have quite different styles and priorities, but with Elsa’s assistance we were able to agree on a plan, a vision and individual furniture and design choices that we both love and connect with. Her ability to create a very personal but tangible concept for us to base design choices on gives our home and living spaces a cohesive and unique feel. Elsa coped admirably with our vague budget and her advice on where to prioritise expenditure for maximum impact was invaluable.”

“Alisha from Matilda Rose Interiors is amazing! After 10 years of living with mixed matched furniture, horrible feature walls and a tired dis-functional kitchen it was time for a makeover. With two children under 2, sleep deprived and to be honest no idea of how to put a room together I made the decision to engage an interior designer. It has proven to be the best decision thanks to Matilda Rose Interiors. We now have an amazing magazine worthy kitchen, a gorgeous formal lounge and meals room, a pool room for Dad's things, and a colourful and fun kids lounge room. "The Process" was very professional. From the initial consultation and walk through of my home I felt listened to but not only understood. Alisha was able to nail my style straight away. Every mood board has been spot on. And equally important Alisha has always been mindful of the overall budget. When sourcing pieces would always present me with several options at different prices and offer alternate suggestions where necessary. I have no hesitation in recommending Matilda Rose Interiors. I am very happy with their service, Alisha has created beautiful rooms for my family that has far exceeded my skills and expectations. I just look forward to redoing my bedroom and bathrooms.”

“I first hired Joanne at Billyhoo to help me plan how to use the space in my lounge dining kitchen areas for a full renovation of my townhouse. She listened to all my ideas and concerns and came up with an excellent plan, the design theme and the colour scheme. I was so relieved to find someone who listened and was respectful of my ideas. She then developed a kitchen plan - see the photo. I love my new kitchen. It has transformed my living space. Joanne is now helping me plan a new bathroom and laundry sympathetic to the kitchen. What I appreciate most is her ability to draw out my ideas and put them into a concrete design, that I can contact her with issues along the way and that she came with me to choose some products eg the beautiful tiles in my kitchen splashback. My friends are so impressed with my renovations and how she helped me use the limited space in a townhouse. Thanks.”

“Jen helped me immensely choosing colours for the outside of our home. I was very unsure of which colours to use and how dark to go. Jen gave me the confidence to pick a bolder colour. It was a fun experience and I am so pleased with the end result. I was so impressed that she is coming back to work on the inside colours!”
