“We had embarked on building a new house and the main issue we faced was that we were uncertain about how to achieve our vision. We had a good idea of what we wanted the end result to look like, but didn't really know how to get there. By working with Michelle, we were able to fine tune our vision, define our style and implement this across multiple rooms. “I engaged Jodie Carter to help with a refresh of my 4 bedroom home. The key objective was to utilise the small spaces I had in the most effecient way. The response to my brief was 5 star. Jodie provided design layout options to review and discuss, along with recommendations of furniture and design pieces. We focused on a front sun room, living/ dining and back play room. Jodie always went above and beyond to ensure we found the right pieces to finish each room as per her vision. Jodie is highly professional and a real joy to work with. I used Jodie again to do my daughters bedroom and the master bedroom after we completed the first round. “The experience we had having Carmen from Collaborative interiors designing our house was beyond words but I’m going to try and do it justice in this review all the same. From the very start, we found Carmen was open to our ideas, our lifestyle and suggestions. She contributed to the layout of the rooms in the preliminary drawing of plans in a manner that allowed us to have the living area we always desired. Given that our renovation happened during the middle of the COVID mayhem didn’t make it easy to procure products and Carmen ensured everything we chose arrived and on time. Every part of our house has been designed tastefully and with us in mind. Furthermore, every room connects to another from a design perspective giving the overall effect of cohesion. Carmen was always a pleasure to work with, amenable to change of ideas on our part and always available when we panicked over things, with her ready, reassuring presence. Overall, I can say the the ‘proof of the pudding’ is in the experience we are currently having living in this beautiful home. And we definitely owe that stylish, comfortable conversion of house to home to her input in this project.”
