Elizabeth’s design layouts form a seamless flow of spaces and create transparency and views across the terraces and pool into the gardens and towards the sea. Her choice of materials and lighting have produced effective atmospheres for the difference rooms; the elegant pool hall, warm cinema room, cosy corner around a two-way fireplace to name a few. The bedrooms are particularly successful with specially designed bed backs and light fittings. The main bathroom with additional outside shower has been called the best in the country. Her choice of finishes, furniture, fabrics and lighting go perfectly with the Mediterranean feeling of the house. Elizabeth’s detailed design of the joinery, glazing, hard finishes distinguish the project from its competitors. The copper front doors were brought India. Everything went as anticipated and I am pleased that the end result has received considerable acclaim.”
