“I hired the Decor Coach to help me rearrange and come up with a design for my master bedroom. I felt my room was awkwardly shaped and my furniture was big for my room. After I contacted Jodi, the decor coach she sent me a questionnaire to fill out before the session and also guided me to this website for inspiration. She arrived right on time and I gave her a very quick look at other rooms in my house so she could get a feel for what I like. She made gave me a checklist of things to do that would help me be organized and not overwhelmed by my designing task. We discussed in depth about the order in which things should be done and how to implement the list when designing my room. We skimmed though websites, photos on her ipad, paint swatches she brought as well as some fabric swatches. She help me pinpoint my style and taught me the importance of knowing it in regards to shopping. She came up with a couple of ideas on how to place my furniture and even sketched a layout for me. I gained a lot of knowledge in a 3 hour session. I'd hire her again anytime and would definitely recommend her to others. Jodi certainly loves what she does and it shows through her professionalism and delightful personality. By the end of the session she had learned by style and pointed me in the direction of stores that would fit my needs. Overall I had a wonderful experience.”

“We live in an older home, which I love, but really wanted to decorate with an eclectic flair, combining old with new (family antiques/modern furniture & decorating). Charissa helped me use what decorating items/furniture I had - and loved - in ways I never would have never imagined, as well as giving me ideas for other decorating items/furniture that could fill spaces that looked empty and blah. I hadn't realized how much decorating trends had changed and her knowledge/acumen for combining art/furniture/lamps was very informative and freeing. Charissa was very respectful of my opinions and lack of decorating talents, while never placating me nor tiring of coming up with new and fresh ideas. I have one lamp that is on the rather large size for my living room, and while jokingly commenting on it when I asked for her opinion, her response was, "If you like it, keep it!!" “We worked with Anne on a 20 year old master bath/suite remodel that evolved into a whole house renovation. The master bath/suite was redesigned first and included a custom window, free standing tub, custom vanities with Brazilian marble and limestone back splash. The shower was enlarged with varying sizes of ceramic tile, rain head, niches and built in seat. The linen closet was replaced with a built in linen cabinet and pocket doors were installed. The master bedroom was redesigned with his and her closets, overhead task and art lighting. The powder room has a custom concrete sink, copper back splash and wall mounted plumbing. All the spaces have new paint, lighting and hardwood floors. My initial contact with Anne was through Houzz when I posted a question and I later contacted her to work with me on a as "needed" basis. I soon realized the benefits of design expertise and hired Anne to manage the full scope of the project. Anne is especially adept at spacial planning. She made sure that our cabinets would be shortened in length, so the tub would fit at just the right angle and the window would be just the right height, etc. She has an great eye for color and is mindful of the budget. She was always responsive to our emails and phone calls which sometimes seemed like true emergencies. She got along great with the tradesman we hired and was also able to appropriately recommend as needed.”
