She thinks out of the box and created a beautiful, useable space that has changed the entrance to our office suite. I found Sue to be such a pleasant, easy going and lovely person with whom to work that I asked her to work on some rooms in our home. She reimagined my home office which always felt cramped and gloomy into an open, modern room which is now our favorite space in the house. We are continuing to work together on updating and modernizing additional rooms. Sue is the best designer and I highly recommend her!”

“Jackie is wonderful to work with. She is a great listener, remembers every conversation we have and really cares about making everything work for me and my family. When we worked on our house in Florida, she introduced a number of very creative problem-solving ideas and was gracious and smart in working with our contractor and our kitchen planner, among others. Her people skills are extremely strong and she manages to get the respect of architects and contractors without any friction or bruised egos. Jackie doesn't have a formula she uses for all of her clients. In our Florida house and in our home in the Berkshires she works to incorporate my husband and my personal treasures, furniture and art collected over the years or inherited from our families. Her objective is to blend the things we each love into a coherent whole. The blending is a real challenge as my husband and I have very different tastes and sensibilities and have merged several households into these two homes since our marriage almost ten years ago. Where I struggle to visualize how things work together in a room, Jackie seems to have 3D vision. I've come to trust her instincts and that is not easy for me to do with anyone. For example, last year in Florida she wanted to use blue in a Benjamin Moore Luxe (muted purple) painted guest room I just couldn't imagine that this color scheme, along with soft, white, would work. It is a great combination and one I would never have imagined. Jackie is also very sensitive to budgetary constraints and to priorities. I am trying to reuse and repurpose much of our furniture from our old Berkshires house. Jackie can visualize how a simple fabric change or coordinating new fabrics with old will really add value and enable us to integrate the old furniture with the new and not spend money we do not need to spend. She's been very good at saving us money. Jackie stopped by this afternoon to do some paperwork and in the process casually gave me and our painter several great ideas. Later in the afternoon, I was hanging a piece of art and my assistant commented on how clever I was to put this particular piece over the mirror in the entrance. "Not my idea, I told her," and she immediately said, "Oh, yes, Jackie stopped by, right?" And she was. I feel very fortunate to work with her and look forward to continuing the relationship in the future.”
