“Kate assisted with the design of the lounge and dining room in July 2020. I had an idea that I wanted to involve some African style themes in the room as we spend quite a bit of time there as a family, and I also thought I might like a dark blue wall. That was as far as my ideas went. Kate led me through the process with skill and care. She suggested ideas such as painting to the top of the walls so you would see the coving, rather than up to the picture rail (which we had done in the past) and this works brilliantly. She also recommended blinds in the dining room and curtains in the lounge, to create two different spaces - similar yet different. Kate's mood boards were really clear and she wasn't remotely concerned when I changed my mind a couple of times. I found the whole process really easy and enjoyable. It took the whole stress out of choosing and was really cost effective. I've recommended her to a few friends and I know others have been impressed too.”
