“Adelene Keeler Smith is a truly gifted interior designer. What really impressed me was her ability to add layers of design and concept into a room that I may have seen as rather bland. She worked from the fundamentals of design and proceeded to make the room come alive with texture, form, color subtleties. She worked like a musician- accenting, highlighting, carrying a theme throughout the room, layering concept upon concept- all while keeping fresh and highly creative. I have followed Adelene's work for many years, but working with her first hand really showed me the depth and breadth of her giftedness. She is a consummate professional and very gracious. I recommend her without hesitation.”

“I didn't know where to turn to get ideas for my outdoor veranda, until a coworker recommended Deborah. Deborah asked questions about how many people I needed to seat, etc. then suggested we use my existing antique wicker and give it a facelift. I was hesitant, but she took the time to help me visualize rich brown furniture with an irresistible teal fabric. Through her connections, she was able to get the labor done reasonably, and they did an amazing job. Deborah has both extensive knowledge, and great sources for services and merchandise. My outdoor seating area has a distinctive look that we love, it looks better than I ever dreamed possible. And to think I was going to waste money on new furniture! ”

“Working with Amanda from "real fine Place" is a wonderful ongoing experience. Amanda is a young energetic, creative designer. She listens to her client and delivers incredible results. What I like most about Amanda is her talent to incorporate family heirlooms with modern purchases. Two of my favorite transformations are a dry sink that my dad made 45 years ago and a steamer trunk my Irish grandmother used to cross the Atlantic in 1932.”

“I asked Ron to update and make changes to my living room, den and dining room. I also needed to change the lighting is several areas. Ron was so easy to work with. His suggestions were thoughtful and creative. He never tried to talk me into anything I wasn't sure of. He incorporated existing furnishings as well as adding additional pieces. I was so pleased with his work, we continued to do more updates throughout the entire house. He always provided budgets and updates in a timely fashion. I would definitely recommend him and have done so. It has been over year and everyday I walk through my home and love what he did.”

“Mary Elizabeth was very helpful to us in some recent interior design projects. She is a good listener and quickly assessed our needs and the type of look that we wanted. She had great suggestions for the use of our interior space, coming up with an innovative and yet very simple and workable layout of the furniture. We would never have thought of this layout ourselves. She also suggested purchases of lamps and furniture that ended up being just right for our space. I would describe us as having very particular taste and Mary Elizabeth got it all just right for us.”
