“Kathryn’s design expertise and creative energy are extraordinary. She brought our vision to full fruition, resulting in an extensive and comprehensive design plan from paint to furnishings. When construction is complete, we’ll have our dream home for post-retirement years. Kathryn quickly understood our context and vision including our needs, our space, and the appropriate scale that optimized the potential of our new home. Put another way, she effectively blended our more traditional leanings with our desire for contemporary and light driven surroundings. Kathryn not only contributed creativity, but she did so with warmth and patience, all the while pleasantly tolerating our frequent revisions and ambiguities. I needed Heather’s advice and guidance on placement, area rugs , fabrics, and accessories, some new, and also incorporating what I have already. Heather is pleasant, personable, easy to talk to, listens to what I want, and guides and advises me accordingly. This is what I need Heather for, but I can confidently say that she would be most helpful in any area of design. I am always clearer on how to proceed after we meet to discuss something.”
