The moment we spoke to Sally from Robertson Lindsay, we knew we had found the right people. She was warm, professional and asked brilliant questions; sounds strange and yet in my experience so many interior designers are formulaic, every room can look like a boutique hotel. Sally was different - it was clear she understood, interior design is a relationship business and that this was our home - not a showroom or a design pad. Yes we wanted style, we also wanted colour, depth and personality. And to be stretched. She spent real time getting to know us as people. That helped tremendously; it meant that the "big" decisions felt excitingly bold yet right (why pay someone if you're going to do what you would have anyway?), she took care of every single detail and sourced items that we never knew even existed (grass wallpaper.. really??!) and yet were simply perfect. We started with the lounge, the hall, the kitchen, the bedroom...Sally and her team helped us create a beautiful home. And became firm friends. We wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

I have previously always muddled through with my own interiors but for my daughter's bedroom I needed help and inspiration. Robertson Lindsay provided both of these and sourced stunning wallpapers and fabrics as well as solving our storage issues. I am delighted with all they have done for me and would recommend them to anyone.

I hired Sally from Robertson Lindsay to interior design my sitting room and vestibule and would highly recommend them.. The sitting room is the main entertaining space within a Victorian terrace house in central London. Her ideas were very creative and she was careful to give consideration to all factors throughout the process. She understood the brief extremely well and presented options on all elements and guided us throughout. She suggested ideas and designs about the carpentry which made a huge difference to the room. We retained a few original elements from the room which were updated and added bespoke new furniture, furnishings and accessories.
