“We recently used Jane’s consultancy service as part of our ongoing house renovation. Having bought a ‘total doer upper’ we’re trying to keep a tight reign on costs but, at the same time, it’s our forever home so want to invest in ‘getting it right’. For us the most daunting thing, once we’d nailed the structural changes, was how to marry the blend of old (the house is Victorian) and modern (kitchen etc) and the colour schemes for the various rooms. I was keen for the rooms to have a flow but I also don’t want everything painted in the same neutral shade. Jane has taken the time to gain a good understanding of our needs (we have a toddler) and personal tastes as well as advising on how to incorporate our existing pieces of furniture and artwork (where appropriate). Jane’s advice has been invaluable on choosing the various elements from paint colours, to tiles and floor coverings. We’re still only part way through but we’re so please with our now ‘finished’ rooms and we’ve already received lots of compliments from family and friends on ‘our’ choices. We’re looking forward to working with Jane on the remaining rooms and finishing our project so we can really enjoy our new homes”

“When we bought our house, I knew I could not design it by myself as I wanted it to be special. As a mum of three girls, I did not have the time to be adventurous to create the home that I always dreamt of. Salsabil was great in widening our options. She was very creative and came up with design concepts that I would never have thought of. She enhanced a lot of our initial thoughts into amazing designs. Given the short time frame we were looking for, Salsabil was still able to accommodate our small budget without compromising on the quality of the pieces. We were all happy with the end result of all the rooms and we often get told amazing comments about our home from our friends. I definitely recommend Salsabil El-Awaisi Interiors to anyone who is looking for a unique and creative space.”
