South Coast Studio

South Coast Studio is owned and operated by Simon Nobs as a subsidiary of Snobs Interiors Ltd. Our aims are to ensure these ancient and specialist skills do not get lost with time and to empower people to embrace art and DIY for mental well-being as well as to up-skill. Based in the South East of England the studio offers a calm and encouraging environment for students to learn the skills required to complete personal projects, up-skill in their career and ensure these specialist skills don't die out. In 2020 the studio also provided a place for Simon to film a series of online courses, allowing more people than ever to learn from the comfort of their home. With over 30 years' experience in specialist interior decorating and design Simon has commissioned countless projects over the years. From painting bespoke shop fronts for independent business owners, renovating houses for new homeowners, to elegant hand-painted marble bathrooms. Simon learned the basics of decorating and decorative paint effects at College and has spent the last 30 years perfecting his craft as owner of Snobs Interiors Ltd. Through South Coast Studio Simon now teaches modern and ancient paint effect techniques and the craft of hand-painted furniture through his online courses and studio workshops.
