About Us

Tollgard Design Group offers an award-winning architectural interior design service for an international clientele. We work collaboratively and creatively to create bold, contemporary interiors that our clients can enjoy. Now in our sixteenth year, our practice is known for its contemporary and creative work on London’s most prestigious streets, on bold new builds in the countryside and in locations across the world including America, Hong Kong, India, Jordan, Portugal, Saudi Arabia and Switzerland. Visit one of our showrooms: Following a long-standing mutual admiration; Ceccotti Collezioni & Tollgard Design Group have joined forces to refurbish & reopen Ceccotti’s showroom at London’s prestigious Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour. With an artisanal approach to luxury furniture making, every piece is original in its constructive complexity and made from its base in the Tuscan town of Cascina. Wood is sourced from plantations strictly controlled in accordance with the life cycle of trees, supporting the necessary recycling and reforestation. Joining Staffan in the relaunch is showroom manager Peter Phan, who has been part of the interior designer community for over 20 years. First Floor, Centre Dome. Our flagship showroom in the the heart of London’s design hub. Find us in Grosvenor Waterside just off Ebury Bridge Road, Belgravia. Staffan is a full member of BIID, the British Institute of Interior Design and one of the 100 leading designers in House & Garden’s influential directory. The Group is proud to be a member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen.

SW5 Client

Staffan Tollgard and his team undertook the wholesale refurbishment of our three bedroom apartment near the Old Brompton Road earlier this year. They quickly understood that the rental value of the apartment would be increased if they improved the layouts, moving the kitchen from one side of the apartment to the other and better utilising the available space. They were able to see that by moving two walls and creating openings in another that they could create a beautiful ensuite master bedroom and a connecting living-dining room. They project managed everything, from design to furniture and decoration, and I am delighted with the outcome. The apartment was rented within days of it hitting the market. I can whole-heartedly recommend them for similar projects where their thoughtful design approach adds real value.

Staffan Tollgard oversaw our 10 month, 3 floor, house renovation, covering both the architectural and interior design. Their attention to detail was incredible and they managed to maintain, & reintroduce, the Arts & Crafts style of the house in many features, whilst updating it with a modern feel, all the time keeping it as a family home - no mean feat! All the team were a pleasure to work with, and had innovative ideas, including the design of a hanging staircase, which had flummoxed both the stair company and the architect. The team really listened to our wants and needs for the interior design and we are delighted with the feel of the house. Their suggestions for light fixtures were particularly unusual and stunning, We would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them for a unique renovation or interior design experience.

The Tollgard Design Group were amazing. They made a 14 month project stress free, and they made choosing the style, finish and furniture a very enjoyable process. They coordinated the project between 2 building teams and the architect very efficiently. This was our first large building project, and given the ease of execution, we will use the Tollgard team if we ever choose to do it again.

Worked with Tollgard design on two different projects and I have no doubt they are the best interior design firm in London. Their scale allows them to have different designers with slightly dofferent focus; the contractors they work with are top notch and they supply the best design furniture from all over the world, at competitive prices. What I appreciated the most is the degree of involvement in every single detail so that even when there are hurdles to overcome, very little intervention is required by client. Another key advantage of Tollgard is their unique ability to interpret client unique taste and transform it into reality. On top of their outstanding professional skills, every person in the team is extremely friendly and easy to deal with, which also really helps especially when like me clients are the owners of the properties being worksd on.
