“Leyla came out for a 2 hour consultation. My intent was to get ideas and colors for a dining room and bathroom. It was totally worth it because Leyla seems to instinctively know design. In her mind's eye she saw a round table where I had been considering to switch out my rectangular dining table for a round one but I hadn't even asked her yet. She pointed to me that of all the pictures I saved for her to see what style attracted me, my current decor did not reflect it, in color or style. Seems like a no brainer and yet I didn't see that until she showed me specifics. She pointed out things like wallpaper and paint meeting without an architectural break was a no no. I never liked the way it looked but didn't know why. She honestly pointed out that my kitchen was too dark, and that I should repaint the dark ceilings. Her manner is direct, honest and cheerfully friendly. I had a long list of questions and she addressed every one satisfactorily whether it was about draperies, wall colors or furnishings. I would hire Leyla again. Sorry no pictures yet. Because I'm acting as my own general contractor and doing a lot of the work myself it is taking longer than anticipated, perhaps I can attach a photo later on.”

Goldie represents Wellborn Cabinets exceptionally. Goldie has walked me through all of the phases of our remodel. She knows her business and worked with me on color and style choices that will work wonderfully in our home. We started working on this kitchen remodel in January, taking our time to update plumbing, electrical, insulation, new windows, flooring, and sheetrock. We are now awaiting our cabinets to be installed the end of this month. [July 2014]. I will add photos of before and after in August 2014.”

“We initially contracted with Guchi Interior Design for window treatment and new flooring in our living room back in September 2010. Since then, we have used Bruce & Katherine to completely redo our kitchen and update our two bathrooms. Our first project, we did our Paris-themed hall bath, which won an award from the NKBA for small baths in 2015. Bruce & his contractors worked very hard to completely tear out the old bath tub and install a beautiful walk in curb-less shower. Katherine worked with me to get the design and color theme that I wanted. We finished this project in October 2013. Next, we started the kitchen project, complete tear-out of the old tile flooring, cabinets & old appliances. Although our kitchen did not win any awards, it was featured in the 2015 NKBA California Capital Chapter Member Directory on page 46. Everyone we know simply loves our kitchen, especially me. We completed the kitchen project in July 2014. Our final project we completed in November 2014. We contracted again with Bruce & Katherine to have our old shower torn out and a new curb-less shower installed. Plus, repainted the cabinets and installed Quartz on the counters along with 2 new sinks. We have been extremely happy with their work and design. They hire the best sub contractors who are careful and very talented. Their tile guy, James, is the best!!”
