“Karen provided design services to us for three projects. The first was our kitchen, second our basement, and thirdly our bathrooms. The renovations were highly customized with Karen finding us unique suppliers from artisans (blacksmith) to speciality wood suppliers for butcher blocks and flooring to commercial quality sinks and high end shower features including steam showers. We didn't want big box store and Karen really delivered. These 3 projects were done over the last 4 years 2011 to 2015. Our basement made it into a magazine spread on the unique renovation. We relied heavily on Karen, gave her lots of discretion and asked her to make it really easy for us. She brought samples to the house for us to choose from, did the shopping for us, it was great. We certainly paid her for her time and expertise and her judgment but it was worth it in every respect. I'm sure that Karen and Westwind design can work to whatever budget one sets but we spared no expense.”
