John stopped by our job every morning to discuss what was going to be done that day. They were extremely helpful in helping us to make decisions on the materials to select. All of the sub-contractors working with John were very professional and completed the work in a timely manner.”

Because of health reasons, we needed to replace our mexican tile floors with smooth wide plank hardwood floors; while we stayed in our house. - Everyday, the crew arrived on time - worked hard all day - left for the day after all scraps and dust was taken out. Our floors turned out beautiful - Jeff was wonderful to work with and he made us feel as if we were his only clients - even though we weren't.”

“I was referred to AE from a friend of mine when my parents decided to renovate their kitchen, living room and bathroom. I live in DC and wasn't able to oversee half of the renovations, but my parents updated me on the progress. The work was phenomenal and at a very reasonable price. I looked for contractors up and down the Bay area for about 2 months so AE beats them all. In addition to the great results, the staff for AE, especially Jen, were so courteous and worked with us the whole way. My parents are Chinese with limited English, so it was amazing how culturally sensitive they were. My dad can be difficult to work with, but it helped so much that the staff was able to describe everything in detail, let us know very early on what was feasible and made sure we were in the know when any plans went array, even little minute details. They also finished about a week before planned when my parents had an emergency out of town. Jen came back multiple times to ensure that everything was safe and up to our standards. I would definitely recommend AE to anyone looking for a project for their home, they really are great to work with.”
