“The design elements were wonderful as our project was a bit difficult...hundred-year old home. They did design a bath and kitchen but with the kitchen just too expensive but considering the work involved not unduly so. We did do the bath and it is wonderful...we have gotten so many great compliments...that the bath still "fits-in" with our home but is truly modern. Beckony was wonderful to work with. All their personnel and subcontracts were considerate and responded to our concerns and questions very readily and in a manner that we could understand...as well as in a timely manner. “Gidget Webster, head of DesignCents, was the designer and decorator for our new luxury bathroom in Colorado. She brought to the job a great combination of skills and tools -- floor plan software, technical experience, product knowledge, relationship building, and hands on know-how. Artistic, technical, creative, and mechanical -- she brings it all. To design this new bathroom, Gidget converted our conversations using a complex software into a flat blueprint that transformed to a three dimensional, 360 degree rotating picture of the bathroom. When the room was built, the picture and the actual room looked exactly alike. This was amazingly helpful. When it came to making decisions about tile patterns, sink and shower hardware, she made this an easier process for me. The unlimited possibilites were overwhelming to me. She came to me with three ideas with physical samples she thought matched my tastes and budget and let me react to them. The end results were beautiful because her sample did match my taste but were more beautiful and creative than I would have imagined on my own. I had hired the builder before I hired Gidget and he was a strongly opinionated man. Gidget managed to get him to cooperate completely with her. She was conscious of costs on my behalf, often saying things like "I would never pay this much for tile" or "you'll get your money's worth with such-and-such" I know she helped me save money without sacrificing style. Another reason I liked working with Gidget is that she accommodated my own imagination. I have elaborate ideas; sometimes, impossible ones. For example, I wanted to use a crude dough bowl as a double sink. She helped me accomplished this At the end, Gidget added her own mechanical savvy. For example, the builder installed the shower and the sink hardware upside down. She figured it out and changed it herself. She even made some installations on her own wearing her tool belt and using her own drill. The bathroom has all the features I wanted and it is gorgeous!”

“Joe of Rimodernare has done several wonderful things for my 1939 Bungalow in Colorado Springs. First, he designed and created double bookcases and a new mantel to surround my fireplace. This feature looks like it was a part of the original design of the home! Next he completely renovated my kitchen. Took it down to the bare wood, so he could add insulation for me, and then, hired the best tile and electric folks to do their parts. He assisted me with the slight change in the design of the kitchen, advised me on cabinets, countertops, undercabinet lighting, created new trim around the four windows and two doors in the space. It is truly a small gem in my home! Next he repaired damaged stucco on the outside of my home that was due to a dishwasher related flood and subsequent water damage. Next he installed a new steel entry door into my garage. It is a larger entryway now, newly framed in and much more secure than the old door I had. Next he made my double closet in the den much more user friendly by removing the old sliding heavy doors, cutting them down to size, and reinstalling them, so they now open as a pair of french doors. He even found "diamond" door knobs to match all the other knobs in my home! Finally, he designed a new closet space in my bedroom. I had a "floating" cupboard next to my closet and they were seperate spaces. The floating cupboard was much too deep to be user friendly (the quirkiness of a 1939 home), so Joe made the floating cupboard door "go away", and then used the space inside to make my closet bigger! And he added light! Amazing what a seemingly small change has made in the look and use of my bedroom. I'd also like to add how meticulous Joe is with keeping spaces clean during demo and remodel time. I was able to sleep in my bed each night after Joe had worked in my bedroom during the closet redo. No dust anywhere! What a pleasure it has been to have Joe improve my little home! Beth”
